The Mandalorian made a colossal impact upon release.

Moreover, it became more popular with each new episode.

The Season Two finale was one of the top-rated TV episodes of all time.

In addition, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,  and Loki made it into IMDb’s most popular TV shows of 2021.

Thus, excitement for the streaming service is higher than ever.

The next Star Wars show for 2022 is no doubt the most anticipated Lucasfilm project right now.

In addition, prequel trilogy co-star Hayden Christensen returns as Anakin Skywalker.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy described it as “The rematch of the century!”

Other Star Wars projects confirmed for Disney Plus in 2022 include the Rogue One spin-off Andor.

The prequel sees Diego Luna again as rebel spy Cassian Andor.

Furthermore, there’s the second season of The Bad Batch.

After their triumphant leap into television in 2021, Marvel Studios has plenty of new series in 2022.

In fact, most of them have MCU superheroes make their long-awaited debuts.
