Henry Cavill’s Superman will meet Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. Specifically, it happens in The Flash film.
As it stands right now, The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are to be going through heavy reshoots in Los Angeles. They are not just filming elements that need filling up. They are working on writing the scripts along the way, so things are unpredictable. We have reported that Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot are doing some reshoots for The Flash with Ben Affleck.
Now YouTube personality Syl Abdul has revealed that they are working on a massive chunk of the third act.
We will be talking about potential spoilers here. Although the production has not officially confirmed this, it’s better warn everyone to read at your own risk.

It’s no secret that Calle’s Supergirl is in the film. Originally, the plan was that Supergirl will be replacing Cavill in the DCEU. That was what former DC Films president Walter Hamada wanted. Hamada also planned for Michael Keaton to replace Affleck as Batman.
In other words, when Hamada headed the studio, he wanted The Flash to wipe out the SnyderVerse. This was before Warner-Discovery merger.
Per Abdul, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav decided to continue the SnyderVerse timeline.
But now that they have added Henry Cavill into the film, Superman and Supergirl will actually meet up in the movie. From what we got before; the story originally was different from that. The only characters that would have met were Affleck’s and Keaton’s respective Batmans.
With the recent reshoots, Abdul’s sources reveal that the supposed cousins will introduce themselves to each other. Specifically, in the third act. It would be thrilling for them to meet since both of them are Kryptonians. And both of them did turn out to be heroes protecting Earth.
Report: Henry Cavill’s Superman Will Meet Supergirl
Abdul pointed out that he would like to see the dynamics between Superman and Supergirl. This is because in the comics Superman is younger than Supergirl. Although Superman is more experienced than Supergirl. And Supergirl hasn’t really aged because she was in stasis for many years. Thus, making her younger physically and mentally compared to Superman.
Will there be time to focus on that? Indeed, this is not like a TV series such as Smallville where we had tons of time to develop characters. I think the main takeaway here is that Superman and Supergirl, both orphans, have found family regardless of once being a universe apart. On the other hand, Supergirl could be a clone of Superman, too.
The mystery deepens.
