Finn Jones seemingly teased his return as Iron Fist with a picture sure to provoke MCU fans. The characters from Netflix’s collection of Marvel TV shows are slowing making their way back into the MCU. Charlie Cox made his welcome return as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
In addition, Vincent D’Onofrio came back as the Kingpin in Hawkeye. Moreover, Jon Bernthal has confirmed his MCU debut as the Punisher in Disney Plus’ Daredevil: Born Again.
I initially scooped all of this on September 16, 2019. Here’s the receipt. On the other hand, sources have told me over the years that Marvel Studios would not bring back Finn Jones as Iron Fist. Finn Jones polarized MCU fans for his weak portrayal as Iron Fist. Many consider Iron Fist, the series, to be the black sheep of Netflix’ Defenders group of Marvel programs.
Simply put, Finn Jones was outclassed by his co-stars, including Jessica Henwick as his girlfriend Colleen Wing. Indeed, Henwick had more charisma and superior martial arts skills.

Krysten Ritter had also been teasing a possible appearance as Jessica Jones in the upcoming series.
There’s no doubt that Ritter appears in Daredevil: Born Again. Ritter has hinted at it for a quite a while now. Bank on it; she’s in.

If Jones is Iron Fist again, that could only mean the Netflix Marvel dramas are canon. All of them. Without a doubt, it now appears that the whole Defenders lineup could be in Daredevil: Born Again. Maybe. We don’t know what Jones means with this photo. Nonetheless, his choice of attire, the timing, and the location raises curious eyebrows.
In the context of Marvel Studios picking up his Defenders co-stars, it’s very possible but yet unconfirmed he’s next.
Previously we reported that Marvel Studios intended to give Iron Fist a full-on reboot.
Those plans have seemingly changed. Unless Jones regularly dresses like this, and it’s simply a coincidence.
