Zack Snyder Is Supportive Of Licensing Justice League 2 To Netflix

Zack Snyder clearly hasn’t moved on from DC and Justice League judging from his support for the #SellZSJLtoNetflix campaign. Since former Warner Bros. executive Ann Sarnoff effectively killed the SnyderVerse in March 22, 2021, naysayers have claimed otherwise. They argue that Zack Snyder is too focused on his Netflix projects.

In other words, he’s left DC behind like a cheating ex-girlfriend.

In a sense, he did. Snyder parted with DC Films on bitter terms. Director Joss Whedon turned Zack Snyder’s Justice League into the Frankenstein of superhero movies. When the movie predictably bombed, fingers pointed at Snyder. Imagine cooking the most delicious cake but someone threw it in the sewer. If it tastes like crap, whose fault is it?

Even Shazam! star Zachary Levi blamed Snyder for DC Films’ fumbles. Of course, he did this while begging DC Studios to save his job. After all, reboots can turn into Order 66.

As Zack Snyder continues to film Rebel Moon for Netflix, his critics treat him like an infant. They apparently developed the ability to read his mind. They bash SnyderVerse fans for tagging him on social media. They expect Snyder to reply with a cold shoulder. He’s gotten over DC, the anti-SnyderVerse mob repeatedly state. Leave him alone, they order.

But Snyder doesn’t remain quiet.

Instead, he likes their posts for to #SellZSJLtoNetflix on Vero. Why would anyone expect anything different? YouTube personality Skiiwalker tha Jedi created a monster with this hashtag. Some of the biggest sites covered it. In fact, even Forbes agreed it was a fine idea. Mark Hughes wrote:

“But the new #SellZSJLtoNetflix message is one of a rare few that seems crazy but actually could work, and just might have some unexpected (albeit unintentional) side benefits to consider. That’s why I think WBD selling the DCEU “Snyderverse” to Netflix could surprisingly be the best option.”

Skiiwalker’s brainchild delivers Justice League to Zack Snyder’s current home, Netflix. If Netflix pulls this off, Snyder would finally complete his story. Moreover, he’d have more creative freedom with Netflix. He wouldn’t have to fit within DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn’s upcoming slate or cheese plate.

In addition, Snyder wouldn’t need to cut it for a PG-13 rating. After all, should this happen, it won’t be a theatrical release. More importantly, as a Netflix series, he’d have sufficient hours to end the saga properly.

Keep in mind the #SellZSJLtoNetflix hashtag isn’t accurate. It’s about licensing, not selling. But a licensing hashtag wouldn’t grab Twitter. This forces you to understand what Skiiwalker truly meant. Without a doubt, Hughes got it. He explained:

“What I do think is possible, however, and what I also think is actually a smart move for a number of reasons, is the idea that WBD could license a singular set of stories and plans for development in a specific way by a particular set of people at Netflix.”

True.

Per Twitter user SnyderQueen, Snyder has liked three #SellZSJLtoNetflix posts already. What does it mean? Snyder is a celebrity. Therefore, he knows all eyes are on his official Vero account. The bashers push this false narrative: Snyder likes everything he’s tagged with on Vero.

No, he doesn’t.

People who say that are trying to discredit the campaign. Don’t believe them. At Geekosity, we’ve probably published over 100 articles on him or the SnyderVerse. He’s only liked about three or four of mine, for which I’m grateful. The others? Perhaps he didn’t see them. It doesn’t matter. He’s a busy man, and I’m not entitled to his time.

The point is he doesn’t like everything.

It’s obvious Zack Snyder supports this. He’s communicates in his humble way. Skiiwalker’s message is getting through. If Netflix offers their own thumbs up, SnyderVerse followers will find a new hope.
