Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in Deadpool 3; thus, it turns the movie into what the Doctor Strange sequel could’ve been. Via The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Garner returns as the assassin Elektra, making her MCU debut. Thus, Deadpool 3 becomes the film the cameo-fueled expected from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Like Multiverse of Madness, Deadpool 3 will journey through the MCU’s parallel Earths. However, a number of fans expected more of them in director Sam Raimi‘s superhero horror movie, including Deadpool 3 co-star Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
The number of busted scoops (admittedly, include some of my own) in Multiverse of Madness from various insiders for that film could fill Avengers Tower.
Nevertheless, Multiverse of Madness became a huge success. The movie earned $955 million globally; in fact, it could’ve easily risen to $1 billion if China picked it up for theatrical release. Not only that, but Raimi crafted a trippy, dark adventure that opened terrifying new doors for the MCU.

Sources tell us that Deadpool 3 will plumb the depths of Fox’s original Marvel actors. On August 30, 2021, we revealed that Josh Brolin comes back as Cable. Cable’s time traveling will play an essential role in Deadpool 3. (Don’t be surprised to see a variant of Jackman’s Wolverine in World War II with Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, an insider claimed.)
In addition to Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry will appear again as Storm alongside X-Men veterans Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan as Professor X and Magneto respectfully.
Fox’s Fantastic Four pictures will be represented by Evans’ the Human Torch and possibly Jessica Alba’s the Invisible Woman.
Deadpool 3 helps to set the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars, the Endgame-level crossover epic that pulls together the threads from the Multiverse Saga.
Of the rumored cameos, Jennifer Garner is probably among the least requested in online chatter. However, that’s nothing personal against Jennifer Garner. It’s mainly because Jennifer Garner’s two Marvel films don’t have as much nostalgic appeal as the best X-Men movies.

Jennifer Garner initially played Elektra in 2003’s Daredevil with future husband Ben Affleck in the title role. Daredevil was actually successful enough to spin off Elektra in 2005. Bashed by critics, Elektra bombed at the box office. Garner hasn’t portrayed the character since then.
To her credit, Garner did a fine job as Elektra. Much of the criticism was directed to the scripts and no her performances.
For Netflix’ Daredevil, Elektra was recast with Elodie Yung.
Deadpool 3 gives Garner a second chance, this time under the reliable hands of Marvel Studios.
