Charlie Cox‘ Daredevil could debut in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed Charlie Cox returns as Daredevil.
On September 15, 2019, I leaked that Feige wouldn’t recast Daredevil.
That scoop is now official.
In that same report, I said the Kingpin wouldn’t be recast, either.
He isn’t.
Hawkeye teased Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin last week.
Undoubtedly, D’Onofrio is back.
Furthermore, he might debut in the fourth episode.
Fans rejoiced at Feige’s announcement.
As usual, Feige tried to be cryptic.
Even when he’s revealing a secret, he sounds like a politician. He said:
If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.
Since my initial piece in 2019, Charlie Cox rumors exploded.
On April 5, I revealed that Charlie Cox is planned for Echo.

In fact, Echo is the first piece in the Daredevil puzzle.
I explained how Hawkeye leads to the Daredevil reboot on November 26.
However, I didn’t say if Daredevil would appear on Hawkeye.
At the time, I didn’t hear solid intel.
Indeed, there were whispers of Charlie Cox in Hawkeye.
Nevertheless, I was a tad skeptical.
After all, Charlie Cox will cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Wouldn’t a Hawkeye debut lessen its impact?
Certainly the general public isn’t aware of Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Sure, the fans, especially Geekosity readers, know.
That’s my hesitation in fully embracing that rumor.
Indeed, it’s among Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s shockers.

After speaking to a few sources, I’m not so doubtful.
Granted, none of them confirmed Charlie Cox is in Hawkeye.
Nevertheless, some are convinced he’s in the show.
A source explained:
It could be Kevin Feige’s Luke Skywalker moment.
That’s a reference to the Season Two finale of The Mandalorian.
A digitally de-aged Luke Skywalker rescues Baby Yoda at the end.
After the dust settled, the Internet crashed.
Grown men wept.
For Star Wars nerds, you’ll never forget where you were when you saw it.
In Hawkeye‘s first installment, I observed how Echo was bathed in red light.
That is to say, it looked like a Daredevil scene.

The Netflix Daredevil show loved its reds.
Granted, I believed it was foreshadowing the Kingpin.
Now I wonder if it was teasing the Man Without Fear.
In the comics, Echo was Daredevil’s girlfriend.
The deaf anti-hero falls for the blind superhero.
Each of them overcame huge obstacles and found one another.
In the middle of it all?
The Kingpin, Echo’s stepfather.
Moreover, he’s Daredevil’s enemy. His Big Bad. Literally.
On the contrary, it’s still unsure if Charlie Cox is in Hawkeye.
Nonetheless, the timing of Feige’s revelation is suspicious.
Charlie Cox might debut in the MCU prior to Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Signs point to Hawkeye as a likely target.
