Daredevil’s next case could be Hawkeye as a rumor explodes of Charlie Cox reprising his role on Disney Plus.
Previous leaks revealed Charlie Cox’s Matthew Murdock, also known as Daredevil, would return in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
But this time, we are hearing we will be seeing Daredevil sooner than later.
Daredevil last appeared onscreen in Netflix’s Daredevil series in 2018.
Netflix canceled the series after Season Three; however, it wasn’t due to bad ratings.
In fact, it was doing well.
The program ended because Disney was going to have their own streaming channel.
The rights then reverted back to the company.
Netflix’s treatment of the Marvel characters was impressive, especially their casting.
Marvel Studios will keep what they felt worked.
Daredevil stood out from most of the Netflix Marvel shows because he was the most comic-book accurate superhero.

Unlike Luke Cage and Iron Fist, he had his costume.
Marvel fans loved it.
Ever since Netflix pruned the Marvel properties, we all wondered if Marvel Studios will continue or reboot the characters.
It’s a relief and exciting news that Marvel Studios is going to bring many of them back.
It’s now even more thrilling to hear that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil returns sooner than expected.
We’ve all been looking forward to the new Hawkeye series on Disney Plus.
The previous shows like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier impressed fans because of the astounding production.
Moreover, the programs tell a proper continuation of the MCU.
What stands out with the Disney Plus MCU series is that they are personal journeys of established characters.
On April 5, we reported that Marvel Studios cast Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, in Hawkeye.
This means that Daredevil and Echo might meet in Hawkeye for the first time.

We did mention before that Daredevil has a deep connection to Echo in the comics.
An Echo Disney Plus series is now being developed; however, there’s no word when this will start production or when it will debut.
Hawkeye series wrapped filming on April 21, 2021; furthermore, it is now in post-production.
Hawkeye stars Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop and Jeremy Renner returning to his role as Clint Barton.
There are no details so far on what the story is in the show.
Barton trains Bishop to pass on the torch of being Hawkeye.
The show is scheduled to be released by late 2021.
We are not sure at what capacity Charlie Cox will be in the show.
Will Daredevil fight Hawkeye?
Or will Matt Murdock meet with Barton or Bishop?
Right now, we are happy that the Netflix-developed Daredevil will be able to continue in the MCU.
We hope other members of The Defenders and supporting cast will show up soon, too.
