Zack Snyder’s Justice League joins several MCU films as among 2021’s most in-demand movies. The old Warner Bros. regime remained quiet on how successful the HBO Max exclusive was. But the evidence continues to spill.
On May 2, 2021, I reported that Samba TV published the first Snyder Cut numbers. At the time, Warner Bros. was dead silent. Moreover, Samba TV was still a fairly obscure viewer tracker application. Afterwards, Zack Snyder’s Justice League put them on the map.
Samba TV Senior Director Dr. Jeffrey Silverman spilled what Warner Bros. refused to. Silverman dropped this on my YouTube partner Syl Abdul’s channel. Silverman revealed:

Former Warner Bros. executives like Ann Sarnoff and Toby Emmerich didn’t want you to know that. They wanted to stop the momentum of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. They wanted to end the SnyderVerse.
Silverman added that Zack Snyder’s Justice League “did great. That’s an objective fact.” Warner Bros. felt that the SnyderVerse couldn’t compete with the MCU.
Now the research firm Parrot Analytics proved that it can. Per Business Insider, Zack Snyder’s Justice League was among 2021’s most in-demand films alongside several MCU movies.
Furthermore, Zack Snyder’s Justice League topped one of them, Black Widow. Keep in mind Black Widow was not small fry. It was a simultaneous theatrical and streaming release. Black Widow earned over $379 million worldwide during the pandemic.
Black Widow reached No. 9 on the list. On the other hand, Zack Snyder’s Justice League climbed higher to No. 8.
Business Insider explained that the metric “measures the engagement and popularity of films beyond the box office.”

The Top-10 includes other MCU movies such as Eternals and Sony-distributed Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Without a doubt, the MCU is an unstoppable juggernaut. That Zack Snyder’s Justice League landed a punch speaks volumes. Granted, other DC films like The Suicide Squad and The Batman made the countdown, too. However, to general audiences Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a new version of an older film.
For this reason, it’s a remarkable achievement.
In other words, this is the kind of accomplishment Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav focuses on.
It gives him another reason to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.
