Spider-Man: No Way Home Blu-ray Features More Of Charlie Cox’ Daredevil

The Spider-Man: No Way Home Blu-ray includes more of Charlie Cox‘ Daredevil. Although brief, Charlie Cox’ cameo appearance drew explosive applause in theaters. Undoubtedly fans have missed him.

After Netflix cancelled Daredevil in 2018, fans wondered about his future.

Namely, will Charlie Cox return as Daredevil?

I scooped that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin would return on September 15, 2019.

At the time, there was skepticism.

However, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige always intended to bring Charlie Cox back.

After all, Charlie Cox is perfectly cast.

Indeed, it’s difficult to imagine anybody else as Daredevil.

Charlie Cox cemented himself as Daredevil.

The Blu-ray adds another 1:35 of Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Certainly, that isn’t much.

However, it’ll help ease the wait until his return in Disney Plus’ She-Hulk this year.

Given that She-Hulk is supposedly a comedy, it’ll be interesting how Daredevil fits.

After all, Daredevil is among Marvel’s darkest heroes.

Indeed, Netflix’ Daredevil was gritty and violent.

But both She-Hulk and Daredevil are attorneys in their civilian lives.

Thus, they do have that in common.

Nonetheless, the upcoming Echo series reunites Charlie Cox with Vincent D’Onofrio.

That will carry the old Netflix magic.

Although it won’t have the R-rated violence of Daredevil, it’ll be tough.

Disney Plus will push the boundaries of PG-13 limitations.

It worked for The Mandalorian and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

In fact, Hawkeye had serious kills, too.

The deleted scene is called “Happy’s Very Good Lawyer.”

In other words, it’s likely additional footage of that one scene.

But it’s more Charlie Cox.

Nobody will complain.

In all, there are five deleted scenes.

Besides Daredevil, there’s other intriguing material.

A part called “The Spideys Hang Out” promises more of Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.

Great.

The banter and chemistry between the three lit the screen.

That alone makes this a needed purchase.

Furthermore, there’s “Peter Day at Midtown High.”

That should focus on his classmates.

Beyond that, featurettes fill out the 100 minutes .

Nevertheless, there’s no director’s commentary.

Then again, director Jon Watts doesn’t want them at all.
