Sony Releases Date For Third Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer (UPDATE)

Written By Mikey Sutton • Editor-in-Chief • Owner

Sony releases the third Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer on December 15.

This is no rumor.

Rather, the BBFC has approved the footage for release that day.

The BBFC is the British Board of Film Certification.

The BBFC rates theatrical films for the U.K.

In other words, this is an international trailer.

Nevertheless, it’ll be available that day on YouTube.

Moreover, December 15 also happens to be opening day for Spider-Man: No Way Home in the U.K.

Because of time-zone differences, that means December 14 in the U.S.

There’s no word if Sony unleashes a U.S. version simultaneously.

On November 28, I reported that leaks explode on December 14.

Because of various time zones, that’s when Spider-Man: No Way Home launches overseas.

Audiences in South Korea and Russia can invade social media, armed with spoilers.

Make no mistake: They’ll do exactly that.

Nevertheless, there’s no word if Sony will include Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield in that third trailer.

They won’t have another opportunity before the avalanche happens.

If Sony includes Maguire and Garfield then, they can get ahead of it.

Well, barely.

Should they decide not, Twitter and Facebook will do it instead.

Garfield can breathe a sigh of relief.

He doesn’t need to deny anymore.

Many expected the third trailer to drop on Spider-Monday.

It didn’t.

Since then, Sony has issued a number of TV drops.

With or without Maguire or Garfield confirmations, the movie will break records.

Sony’s marketing campaign has been both clever and annoying.

Nonetheless, their commitment to secrecy is admirable.

Still, there have been laughable leaks.

In addition, there were suspicious public appearances.

Even Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal spilled Tom Holland’s future.

In fact, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Charlie Cox is back as Daredevil.

Cox is rumored to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The third Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer could be more of the same.

Then again, it might unveil the worst-kept secrets in the world.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is released on December 17 in America.

That’s just right around the corner.

People have the choice to either log off or be spoiled three days before then.

Expect the inevitable.
