Gal Gadot: Keeping Her In Wonder Woman 3 Should Be Most Important

Gal Gadot shouldn’t be recast in Wonder Woman 3; in fact, keeping her in the film should be the most important objective. With Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck’s time in the DC Universe officially over, concerns about Gal Gadot’s future are growing.

It’s hard to picture someone other than Gal Gadot play Wonder Woman after she brought the character to the big screen. No one believed another actress could play Wonder Woman after Lynda Carter’s unforgettable portrayal in the classic TV series.

However. Gal Gadot came along and blew away everyone’s expectations and shattered any doubt about her initial casting. Gal Gadot made her jaw-dropping debut as the iconic superhero in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

She only appeared in a supporting role with little screen time overall. Nonetheless, she completely stole the show with her power and beauty whenever she was onscreen. In addition, she would go on to star in Wonder Woman’s first ever live-action solo film a year later.

The movie garnered global acclaim from fans and critics alike, with Gal Gadot’s performance receiving high praise. Moreover, it would also earn $822.8 million at the worldwide box office.

Gal Gadot would later reprise the role in multiple DC movies in the years that followed. These included: Justice League (2017); Wonder Woman 1984; Zack Snyder’s Justice League; and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Furthermore, she’s also set to have a small role in The Flash later this year if it hasn’t been cut.

Unfortunately, Wonder Woman 1984 wasn’t as well received as her first solo outing. On the contrary, that wasn’t her fault. Nevertheless, Gal Gadot always brought her A game in every project she was in.

This reason alone is why it would be a huge mistake for DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn to recast in the third Wonder Woman adventure.

Whatever it’s called.

She’s virtually beloved by DC fans and moviegoers from across the world for her magnificent portrayal.

Plus much like Robert Downey Jr. with Iron Man, Gal Gadot has become synonymous with the role of Wonder Woman.

The outcry from Cavill and Affleck’s dismissals were bad enough for fans. It’s proven that audiences have been able to accept multiple actors as Superman and Batman. But Wonder Woman? It’s not even worth trying as Gadot is still in her prime.

Losing Gadot would be another terrible decision that’ll undoubtedly lead to more backlash.
