Chloe Bennet could be hiding in the Secret Invasion trailer. Without a doubt, rumors of Chloe Bennet in Secret Invasion have circulated for years and grown the past few years. We initially scooped her MCU debut on January 27, 2021. Or is that a return? After all, Chloe Bennet played Quake in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for seven seasons. However, AOS is no longer considered canon; rather, it’s part of the multiverse.
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is often overlooked by fans which sadly isn’t much of a surprise. The show got off to a rocky start that saw many viewers turning their TVs off. Nonetheless, things started to pickup following the shocking revelation that S.H.I.E.L.D. had been secretly infiltrated by Hydra. A plot that directly connected to the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
From then on, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. improved with every season that followed. With that, Chloe Bennet’s popularity grew, especially after she discovered she was an Inhuman. In addition, the show also began to introduce major heroes from the comics like Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider.
Undoubtedly, though, the most beloved addition to the show’s impressive ensemble was Chloe Bennet’s Quake. Originally introduced as a computer hacker called Skye, the character’s real name was eventually revealed to be Daisy Johnson.

In the comics, Johnson is an inhuman who can generate powerful vibrations that can produce effects resembling those of earthquakes. Thus, her code name Quake is fitting.
Chloe Bennet’s performance as Quake was an instant favorite. In fact, her impact on the character was so great that elements of her portrayal were incorporated into the comics. But once Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. came to a conclusion on August 12, 2020, everyone was asking the same question.
When will we see Chloe Bennet return as Quake in the MCU?
After a Disney Plus series based on Marvel’s Secret Invasion storyline was announced, it seemed like that question was answered. Even though Chloe Bennet hasn’t been officially listed as a cast member by Marvel Studios, it’s pretty obvious she’ll appear.
After all, the actress let it slip that her return was inevitable while responding to a rude Twitter user. Furthermore, Geekosity has repeatedly affirmed that Chloe Bennet wasn’t done with Quake just yet.

Now we may finally have concrete evidence of her presence in the upcoming MCU storyline. With the release of a new trailer for Secret Invasion, eagle-eyed fans have been examining each new shot of footage.
In a blink and you’ll miss it moment, we see a young woman crying over what looks like a corpse. On the other hand, we can’t see her face so it’s possible that could also be Emilia Clarke’s character. The moment happens at 1:15.
Nevertheless, it’s best not to rule anything out.
No matter what, we haven’t seen the last of Chloe Bennet as Quake just yet. After all, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has proven he is willing to keep actors from Marvel projects he didn’t produce. Indeed, Hugh Jackman comes back as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
Feige could’ve recast Daredevil, the Punisher, and the Kingpin as Netflix’ Defenders series didn’t fall under his supervision. Instead, he threw Charlie Cox’ Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law prior to his new series.
Feige gives the fans what they want unlike his DC Studios counterpart James Gunn. Gunn pulled Henry Cavill from Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman with a reboot that polarizes followers even further. Marvel Studios doesn’t make those kind of mistakes.
