Marvel Studios’ Plan for Charlie Cox in Spider-Man Trailers Revealed - Matt Murdock

Charlie Cox‘ Matt Murdock may have been seen in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.

However, it might be the only glimpse you’ll see of him until the film is released.

Insiders reveal that Marvel Studios want Charlie Cox to be a surprise; well, to the general public, that is.

To fans who follow sites such as Geekosity, Charlie Cox’ inclusion was spoiled last year.

In fact, if neither Matt Murdock nor his superhero identity Daredevil are in the movie, expect mass disappointment.

Since the release of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, a lot of people have been analyzing every single scene frame-by-frame.

They see hints of the Lizard, Sandman, and Electro even though they are very difficult to actually view.

Unfortunately, there’s very little detail in the trailer.

Now it seems people think that they have seen Matt Murdock, too.

To be fair, it seems that Charlie Cox is in the trailer but you won’t easily recognize him.

In the room where Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is held for interrogation, there is a scene where a load of papers is placed on the table.

Yes, that’s the one.

Fans think those are the hands of Charlie Cox.

A twitter post from @stqrkswilson even compared the hands in scenes from Netflix’s Daredevil and the shot from the trailer.

And it is quite interesting.

There is a similarity to how the hands and wrists look like.

We have posted before that Matt Murdock will show up in the film.

Furthermore, he will be Parker’s lawyer to defend him on the case.

In the trailer, it shows that the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home directly affects the events of the upcoming movie.

Parker is accused by the Department of Damage Control of killing Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), also known as Mysterio.

Everyone knows that Parker is Spider-Man.

Charlie Cox’s appearance also ties in the fact that he did miss the Celebrity Fan Fest for reshoots for the said movie back in August 6-7.

This is when he said that he has a “last-minute filming schedule.”

He could’ve been shooting She-Hulk, but that didn’t make any sense for a rushed scheduled filming.

It was likely for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Many still miss Charlie Cox as Daredevil on Netflix.

He won’t be in costume in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Nevertheless, Charlie Cox’ MCU debut is thrilling enough.

He’ll have a more prominent role in the Disney Plus series Echo.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2022.
