The Rock teased Henry Cavill’s Superman cameo in Black Adam. On April 11, 2021, I scooped that Henry Cavill could cameo in Black Adam. Moreover, it’d be in a post-credits scene. I’ve been discussing this since my earliest days on Syl Abdul’s YouTube channel.
However, an unconfirmed rumor circled social media yesterday. Apparently, Superman does appear in a Black Adam post-credits sequence.
But it wasn’t Henry Cavill. In fact, they didn’t show Superman’s face.
To Henry Cavill fans, it was Shazam! all over again. Or Peacemaker. Both projects featured an unseen Man of Steel. In other words, they symbolized Henry Cavill with faceless body doubles.
The Rock Teases Henry Cavill’s Superman Cameo In Black Adam
From back in the day when I was wrestling in flea markets for $40 bucks a match, all the way to now.
I’ve learned to always listen to the audience because they will always lead you to where you need to go.
I hear you & I always got you 👊🏾😉#BlackAdam @SevenBucksProd https://t.co/gqFlDwb8ud— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) July 1, 2022
In a surprising move, The Rock responded to the gossip. Without naming Henry Cavill directly, he silenced the panic. The Rock tweeted:

I’ve learned to always listen to the audience because they will always lead you to where you need to go.
I hear you & I always got you
The Rock followed this with fist and winking emojis. Specifically, The Rock responded to a fan suggesting a Henry Cavill/Black Adam meeting. And The Rock didn’t stop there. In another tweet, The Rock added:
#staycalm #BlackAdam
For the record, The Rock wasn’t speaking to Superman buffs with “#staycalm.” Nobody seemed to question the Superman rumor. It was the possible absence of Henry Cavill that freaked everyone out.
Of course, the anti-Snyder crowd will argue that The Rock didn’t say anything about Henry Cavill’s Superman. Of course not. The image of Henry Cavill’s Superman costume was enough of a tease, yes?

Quite frankly, I think The Rock threw some shade at the old Warner Bros. regime there:
I’ve learned to always listen to the audience because they will always lead you to where you need to go.
That’s the opposite of what Warner Bros. did with the SnyderVerse.
The Rock and Henry Cavill are friends. Moreover, they share the same agent, Dany Garcia, who is The Rock’s ex-wife.
Insiders were unable to verify the Black Adam post-credit scene without Henry Cavill. On the bright side, there’s no other actor replacing him in the footage, if accurate. In addition, a source adds that The Rock wouldn’t spoil Henry Cavill’s Superman cameo. Especially this early.
So The Rock wants Henry Cavill’s legion of followers to #staycalm. Until Warner Bros. Discovery announces they will #RestoreTheSnyderVerse.
