We get to finally see and have an idea how Christian Bale’s Gorr would look like in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.
Toys are the best things to look at when you want to know more about a much-awaited movie.
It can give you clues and sometimes, major details about the characters in the story.
Sometimes, even the movie plot itself.
The same thoughts come to mind as the recent S.H. Figuarts revealed their Thor and Mighty Thor.
Those action figures were able to tell something other than the new costumes.
It was also able to tell us that Mjolnir is indeed repaired even to optimum function.
This time, it seems like another merchandise reveals more details about the major villain of Thor: Love and Thunder.
And he is Gorr the God Butcher.
Christian Bale takes the role of Gorr the God Butcher.

Christian Bale is best known for being Bruce Wayne or Batman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy.
If you are looking forward to a detailed look at Gorr the God Butcher, we advise you to manage your expectations because instead of an action figure with detailed articulation, we’ll be looking at a LEGO minifig.
So, we won’t be looking at a Christian Bale action figure at the moment.
At least not yet.
LEGO often releases photos of upcoming films.
Just a few months ago we got to see the official pictures of the LEGO Doctor Strange Gargantos set.
The image of the toy proved that Gargantos is in the movie.
This time around, LEGO unveiled photos for another Thor: Love and Thunder set.
And it’s even a bigger set than the Doctor Strange Gargantos set.
How Christian Bale’s Gorr The God Butcher Will Look In Thor: Love And Thunder

This new LEGO set for Thor: Love and Thunder is “The Goat Boat.”
It includes Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, Korg, Gorr, and a couple of goats.
The new set is available for preorder by April 26.
While we have seen Thor and Mighty Thor through some detailed toys from S.H. Figuarts.
We’ve also seen Valkyrie a few months ago.
Tweets leaked images of Christian Bale’s Gorr last year.
What you can’t see in the leaked images is the weapon that Gorr wields.
An item you can clearly see in the LEGO Thor: Love and Thunder The Goat Boat set.
You can clearly see it is a black sword, and if you are familiar with the comics, it is the All-Black the Necrosword.
Jason Aaron wrote and created Gorr with Esad Ribić’s art.
The character first appeared in Thor: God of Thunder No. 2 in November 2012.
In the comics, Gorr has had a hard life, losing his parents at an early age.
In later years, he then lost his pregnant wife in an earthquake and all his children.
Because of this, he has lost faith in the gods and even more when his own people banished him to an exile.
While wandering the desert, he saw two gods fight each other and seeing them got him enraged.
The dark god’s living darkness bonded with Gorr.
This manifested Gorr’s own weapon called the all-black the Necrosword.
He used the sword to kill the other god.

From then on, he vowed to kill all the gods for not answering his prayers.
The all-black the Necrosword is one of the most feared weapons in the Marvel Universe. Living darkness formed it.
It is important to note that the sword also has some relation to Venom.
There is symbiote in the Necrosword.
We are not sure yet if the MCU will make the connection between the Necrosword and Venom.
We did see a small bit of symbiote enter the MCU though during the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
And for some reason, it didn’t return to Venom’s universe.
So, because of Necrosword, Christian Bale’s Gorr will hopefully be more threatening than Christopher Eccleston’s Malekith or Cate Blanchett’s Hela.
So god-threatening that the movie needs two Thors battling off with the God Butcher.
