A new Hulk could be in development with Ludi Lin in talks to play Amadeus Cho.

On June 7, 2021, we revealed that Marvel Studios is developing another Hulk with Amadeus Cho. Mark Ruffalo is not quitting the Hulk yet, but Marvel Studios prepares for the future. In other words, Marvel Studios is mapping out Ruffalo’s eventual replacement.

We already have a lot of the original Avengers that Marvel Studios replaced with a new set of heroes. Sam Wilson replaced Steve Rogers’ Captain America. Yelena Belova replaced Natasha Romanov’s Black Widow. Kate Bishop replaced Clint Barton’s Hawkeye. Riri Williams’ Iron Heart replaced Tony Stark’s Iron Man. And Shuri will replace T’Challa’s Black Panther.

A report from Giant Freakin Robot states that Ludi Lin is currently in talks to take the role of Amadeus Cho, also known as the Totally Awesome Hulk. We don’t know where Amadeus Cho is planning to show up. In the comics, he was Maximus Excello because he is one of the smartest persons in the Marvel Universe. So, it took a while before he actually transformed into the Hulk. We think it all depends on how long Ruffalo still wants to play him.

Ludi Lin has worked on movies like Mortal Kombat and Aquaman.

The Hulk returned to Skaar in She Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s second episode. Many fans speculate World War Hulk is now in development. After all, Disney now owns the Hulk’s full cinematic rights. Without a doubt, the Hulk will acquire another solo movie.

This could also be a good time to actually introduce Cho. Cho doesn’t have the same abilities as Bruce Banner’s Hulk, but he accidentally received it when the Hulk needed help. The Hulk tried to absorb the radiation from a fusion reactor accident. Afterwards, Cho used nanobots to absorb some of the Hulk’s gamma radiation to save Bruce. This transformed Cho into the Incredible Hulk or as others refer to him as the Totally Awesome Hulk.

The introduction of Cho will also mean that Agents of Atlas could also be drawing near. Agents of Atlas are basically an all-Asian Avengers. Cho is on the team in the comic books. They’re coming to the MCU. No doubt about it.
