Megan Thee Stallion lit fandom with her cameo in the latest episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. While her appearance shocked countless viewers, the secret leaked months ago. Everything Always scooped it in July.

Recently, The Cut confirmed it. The article cited that Megan Thee Stallion was galloping into She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The rapper is reintroducing herself with renewed strength and assertiveness. She calls the shots as to the look and feel for her new album, Traumazine.

Of course, this is because the album contains all her work and writing. The lyrics directly speak of what she is going through.

Through Campbell Addy’s lens Megan Thee Stallion showcases her strong sense of self and determination. She is very much attuned to what she wants to project in every shot. In her perception, what she brings to the clothes are what sets the look apart, above from the rest. In Stallion’s words:

I like to dress up but what I really like is that clothes don’t make people; people make clothes. It’s the personality that the person brought to the clothes that really made the statement. That’s why y’all remember this outfit — because of what I brought to it, not because of what it brought to me.

While the article did not delve into the details of She-Hulk, one thing is certain. Megan Thee Stallion will be ready with any role they will serve her. Even her co-actor J. Alphonse Nicholson in P-Valley says:

I think she has it in her tool bag to do anything. You could see her in a period piece, whether she’s playing someone in the 1960s trying to come up and make it, or whether she’s in a futuresque sci-fi film and she’s out here whooping ass and fighting on some Marvel stuff. I think she could bring it all to the table just because she has that glow.

However, apart from portraying roles in front of the camera, she also sees herself heavily involved behind the scenes in the future. In addition, she takes inspiration from Queen Latifah and Ice Cube. Stallion explained:

When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music. I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.

Without a doubt, Stallion delivered star power to She-Hulk. The past two episodes already shed light into Jennifer Walters’ challenges coming out in the world as She-Hulk. In the second episode, Walters (Tatiana Maslany) mentioned she was hoping to hide the fact for an indefinite period of time. It was like she wanted to hide herself from the world.

A lot of her messages relay to the audience that she, as a female attorney, has to go through a lot of situations in which she has to control her anger. To protect and keep doing what she loves to do, she needs to satisfy certain expectations.

These are conditions in which Stallion talks about in her album. Perhaps Stallion will inspire Walters to be more assertive and embrace the Hulk that she is.
