Marvel Studios Could Announce Deadpool 3 At SDCC

Marvel Studios could announce Deadpool 3 at SDCC this weekend. In fact, they probably will. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is going to save the biggest MCU news for D23 Expo 2022 on September 9. In other words, Disney has their own event to deliver the hype.

Nevertheless, SDCC still has the world stage. On the other hand, D23 is Disney’s own. They can unload all of their projects one after another without competition such as DC Films.

It’s all about the headlines. Social-media blasts. Going viral on Twitter.

If Henry Cavill flies into Hall H on Saturday for DC Films, it’ll be the talk of the globe. For example, his presence will overshadow The Fantastic Four cast. Therefore, insiders are skeptical Feige will unveil The Fantastic Four cast at SDCC.

Instead, you bring out Deadpool 3. Everyone knows Marvel Studios is developing Deadpool 3. However, Ryan Reynolds’ hilarious presence at SDCC is a magnet for YouTubers. If Reynolds brings his pal Hugh Jackman with him, speculation will explode everywhere.

Does this mean Jackman returns as Wolverine in Deadpool 3?

Such a question fuels excitement for the film.

Without a doubt, the release of the first two Deadpool movies on Disney Plus on July 22 raised eyebrows. No, it wasn’t because they’re R-rated. After all, Disney Plus has the adult Netflix Marvel programs under parental lock already. The Deadpool films and Jackman’s Logan should be no surprise.

Reynolds even joked they’re in good company. He said on Instagram and Twitter:

We’re supposed to announce Logan and Deadpool will soon be the first R-rated movies on Disney+. But we all know some Disney movies should already be rated R for irreversible trauma.

Nonetheless, Disney Plus unleashes them on the second day of SDCC.

That’s just 24 hours before Feige starts unwrapping MCU goodies.

Deadpool 3 at SDCC? Bank on it.

The timing is way too suspicious.

At this point, Reynolds has revealed little of Deadpool 3. Therefore, here’s a huge opportunity to begin filling in the blanks.

As a matter of fact, some fans still worry Disney will water down the Deadpool franchise. Marvel Studios could quiet those fears at SDCC.
