New Evidence Proves Marvel Studios Developing World War Hulk Movie

Mark Ruffalo offered hope that Robert Downey Jr. could return to the MCU. Or did he just drop a spoiler for Avengers: Secret Wars? There’s a few reasons why Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is humorously rumored to have snipers watching all of his MCU stars.

One of them being Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, who’s become well known for letting things slip out. So much so that Holland often needs a co-star with him during interviews to keep an eye on what he says.

In addition, Mark Ruffalo has also become notorious in recent years for letting loose certain spoilers for various MCU films. For example, he did a Facebook live stream back in 2017 during the Thor: Ragnarök premiere to promote the film. However, he forgot to switch his phone off.

As a result, he accidentally ended up leaking the first 20 minutes of the movie without even knowing. Recalling the incident the incident on The Graham Norton Show in 2020, Ruffalo explained:

“My phone was blowing up, everyone and their mother was texting me from all over the world to tell me that my phone was on and I was live-broadcasting the movie. Of course, I’m a gentleman, so I don’t check my phone during movies.”

Nonetheless, when someone eventually informed Mark Ruffalo of his mistake, he revealed his reaction:

“I pulled it out and I was like, ‘Ohhhhh…. s**t.’”

As expected, the Hulk actor met with Feige shortly after the incident.

Luckily. he survived.

In fact, Feige was impressed with this whole situation.

It turned out that Mark Ruffalo’s Facebook mishap had given the movie a huge amount of free publicity. Mark Ruffalo explained:

“I walk over to him to say sorry, and he grabs me in a bear hug, and he’s like…. ‘That was genius! We got more press from that than the entire premiere! We couldn’t have imagined doing something that good!’”

Now it seems that Mark Ruffalo could have potentially let another loose another major MCU spoiler. Avengers: Endgame saw three of the MCU’s original six superheroes bid farewell to the franchise. Although Scarlett Johansson would reprise her role as Black Widow in a 2021 flashback solo film.

On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have seemingly left their roles as Iron Man and Captain America behind.

Nevertheless, Ruffalo seems to think a return could actually be on the cards thanks to time travel and alternate realities.

He recently attended Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, WA. While on stage, he was asked how he felt still being in the MCU without his Avengers co-stars.

He admitted:

“Sad, but there is a time machine. And there are alternate universes and realities, so anything could happen, [laughs while cautiously looking at the ceiling] are one of these boards going to fall on me? Man, are you trying to get me in trouble again? I’m not going to say it’s not possible, but I’m not going to say it is.”

Did he just let it slip that Downey Jr. could show up in Avengers: Secret Wars?

It sure sounds that way.
