Hailee Steinfeld Hints At Hawkeye Season 2 On Twitter

Hailee Steinfeld may have teased Season Two of Disney Plus’ Hawkeye. Without a doubt, she excited fans. However, Marvel Studios hasn’t announced Hawkeye‘s renewal. Well, not yet anyway. On June 3, I scooped that Season Two is in development.

Sources told us a second season will actually happen. In fact, Marvel Studios changed the listing of Hawkeye as ‘Comedy Series’ instead of a ‘Limited Series’ in their Emmy submissions.

The switch in categories raises eyebrows. In other words, Hawkeye isn’t a limited series.

In the official twitter account of Hailee Steinfeld, she tweets:

It’s finally happening. All because of you… *clapper image*

Almost immediately fans tweeted their comments and reactions. Although some guessed other projects, a clear winner emerged. Specifically, a huge portion focused on more Hawkeye.

In addition, the evidence for Hawkeye piles up. Indeed, the Emmy change creates suspicion. Still, the series practically screams for a follow-up season. After all, Marvel Studios is building the Young Avengers. Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop is a member.

Also, critics and audiences loved it on Rotten Tomatoes.  Critics gave it a 92%. Moreover, it earned an 89% average audience score. Finally, fans want to see Bishop in action again. With Florence Pugh’s Black Widow, if possible. Thank you.

On Instagram, star Jeremy Renner alluded to a crew he has assembled.

In his caption, Renner posts:

New SUPER CREW ALERT! I cannot wait to introduce to you all the exceptional women and men I’ve assembled …#rennervations2023.

Granted, this could refer to his more recent project Mayor of Kingstown. As of now, it’s not clear. But, in his other posts that refer to it, he always tags @mayorofkingstown and @paramountplus. Those are not present in this image. Curious, right?

Therefore, fans happily put the two activities together as a confirmation for Hawkeye. These actors and productions know how to play the social-media game. If not for an announcement of sorts, it can also give the bigwigs an idea of what projects will actually sell in the future.

Hawkeye sells.

Sure, time will tell. Hint or not, Hawkeye heads back to Disney Plus for new episodes. Just wait. Patience. Steinfeld and Renner will shoot arrows once again. More fun coming.
