The world premiere event of Black Adam confirms Henry Cavill’s cameo as Superman. It was also one of my scoops. The following contains spoilers. Please proceed with caution if you’d rather not know.

Prominent YouTuber Grace Randolph revealed that Henry Cavill’s Superman appears in the film. However, after tweeting the information, Randolph deleted it. We’ve attached a screenshot below. The mystery finally ends.
On March 3, 2020, I reported that Cavill will return to the DCEU. Although rumors of Cavill’s comeback dominated geek talk the past few months, that didn’t happen on March 3, 2020. Various media outlets claimed Warner Bros. was finished with Cavill. At the time, insiders told me the Rock sought him for the Shazam! sequel.

That made sense. After all, The Rock’s company, Seven Bucks Productions, is among the companies behind the Shazam! franchise. Furthermore, the Rock’s ex-wife Dany Garcia manages both him and Henry Cavill. On April 11, 2021, I updated it. The Rock planned Cavill for a cameo in Black Adam‘s post-credits sequence.

According to Randolph, Cavill only takes up five seconds of Black Adam. Nevertheless, she added that he “looks incredible.”
She’s right. I watched the footage. Cavill walks out of the smoke in the dark. An incredible five seconds. As a matter of fact, YouTube personality Syl Abdul accurately described the scene on August 23.
Some claimed that the Rock’s decision to add Cavill was recent. No, it isn’t. That shows no knowledge of how Hollywood works. In fact, Garcia explained that, “We have a secret end credit scene that I’ve been working on for 6 years.”
Six years.
That’s several before my initial article. In other words, the Rock truly mapped this out for a while.
For DC fans, especially that of the SnyderVerse, Cavill in Black Adam represents a dramatic creative shift. The previous Warner Bros. regime considered replacing him with Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.

Nonetheless, I never wavered from my original story. My sources kept telling me the Rock kept pushing for it.
Without a doubt, he won.
In the end, DC followers will celebrate the victory. Indeed, there are no losers here. Well, except for the anti-SnyderVerse crowd. For several years they weaved false narratives about Cavill’s DCEU future. He’s moved on, he costs too much, or he’s too old are among the click-bait arguments.
The Rock crushed them all.
Love or loathe the Rock, he gave DC fans what they asked for unlike Warner Bros.’ fired executives. He isn’t done yet. There remain worlds to restore.
