Jonathan Majors Could Be $20 Million Mistake For Disney

Jonathan Majors could end becoming a $20 million headache for Disney if the assault allegations against him get any worse. However, recent video evidence casts some doubt on his accuser. For now, it looks like this case will move up and down like a seesaw. In other words, it’s difficult to predict where this will end up.

A few weeks ago, reports came in that Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City for domestic abuse. The actor reportedly assaulted his girlfriend in a taxi after she tried reaching for his phone. His now ex-girlfriend is believed to have suffered lacerations on her neck and a broken finger caused by Jonathan Majors.

Recently adding more fuel to this fire, more women have come forward alleging that he had also abused them. Nevertheless, the actor’s lawyer has stressed that he’s the victim of this whole ordeal. Priya Chaudhry has claimed that there’s irrefutable evidence which proves Jonathan Majors’ innocence.

So far we’ve only seen text messages between the couple which many believe have done more damage to his reputation. Instead of clearing Jonathan Majors’ name, the leaked messages have cast further doubt on his credibility.

On the contrary, we now have screenshots from the CCTV of a nightclub on the night of the incident via TMZ that poke holes in a few of her claims. The footage was taken after the incident in the taxi and shows Jonathan Majors’ girlfriend with no visible injuries. Moreover, she is clearly seen using her phone and holding a wine glass in the hand she claimed was hurt.

Something doesn’t add up.

TMZ explained:

Despite the less than stellar reviews, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania still received praise for its strong cast. In particular, Jonathan Majors with his nerve-wracking performance as the MCU’s next big threat, Kang the Conqueror.

Following Jonathan Majors’ initial debut in the season finale of Loki, excitement for Kang’s inevitable arrival was understandably high. Even though he wasn’t playing the omnipotent villain that was teased by his more comedic variant, he still terrified viewers.

The looming threat that Kang poses on the MCU was felt during Majors’ brief screen time as He Who Remains. We finally saw Jonathan Majors fully embrace his darker side in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Unfortunately the reviews and overall box-office numbers for the movie left a lot to be desired. As a result, a major shakeup has been put into effect over at Marvel Studios.

Nonetheless, Jonathan Majors was rightfully considered by critics and audiences to be the sequel’s biggest standout.Already Kang has been compared to Thanos in terms of who is the more powerful supervillain. In addition, Jonathan Majors will also play a lead role in Loki Season Two which will premiere later this year.

A clip from the upcoming Disney Plus series was shown as a post-credit scene in the Ant-Man sequel.

Moreover, the Kang we see in this teaser is Victor Timely. Victor Timely is one of the villain’s many notable variants in Marvel Comics.

It’s been reported that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will commence filming early next year. Jonathan Majors will earn around $20 million for his role in the upcoming film. Sources indicate that Disney isn’t convinced enough of Majors’ guilt to take any action against him, such as recasting Kang. For now; tomorrow could be a different story.
