Doctor Doom Rumored For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Written by Edwin Francisco and Joy Lyn Parohinog Francisco

Doctor Doom will make his presence known in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

After Disney acquired Fox, fans wondered when the Fantastic Four and their villains would show up in the MCU.

If Spider-Man: No Way Home is any indication, anything’s possible.

Doctor Doom exists in the MCU.

However, when will he debut?

According to a new rumor, it could be soon.

The Fantastic Four is the final movie in the MCU’s Phase Four.

Certainly, The Fantastic Four without Doctor Doom will be a missed opportunity.

In the comics, the Fantastic Four’s first villain was the Mole Man.

However, it wouldn’t seem right if Doctor Doom doesn’t appear.

It’s just a matter of time.

Doctor Doom first appeared in The Fantastic Four No. 5 in 1962.

Writer Stan Lee and Jack Kirby co-created him.

If Jon Watt’s MCU reboot is a trilogy, can we expect Doctor Doom in all three?

After all, Doctor Doom will venture beyond The Fantastic Four franchise.

Doctor Doom is not completely a super villain.

He can also be an anti-hero.

In fact, he is a complex man who acts according to his own logic.

Nothing stops him in order to achieve his own goals.

At this time, it seems Doctor Doom has a minor role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

According to the leak:

The war between Atlantis and Wakanda was down to Doom’s interference.

Furthermore, Doctor Doom wants world peace and prosperity.

On the other hand, in order to totally achieve this, people’s freewill and happiness is off the equation.

This happened in 1987’s graphic novel Emperor Doom written by David Michelinie, Mark Gruenwald, and Jim Shooter, with art by Bob Hall and Keith Williams.

In the movies, Wakanda revealed their advanced technologies and culture to the world.

This can be the reason Doctor Doom enters Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Moreover, this strongly positions Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in carving the MCU’s future.

Sadly, Doctor Doom has yet to be adapted well.

Fox’s first two Fantastic Four movies have redeeming qualities.

Indeed, on the surface they were fun.

But fans bashed every version of Doctor Doom.

Will Black Panther: Wakanda Forever break the curse?

Or is it Doomed?

How all this unfolds is unknown for now.
