Opening the multiverse in the MCU helped Sony ease into continuing Spider-Man’s past.
Specifically, Sony’s versions of Spider-Man.
They are now acknowledged as alternate universes.
Thus, their own stories can continue and pick up where they left off.
But why Venom for Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man?
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Andrew Garfield he’s the only Spider-Man who never faced an alien nemesis.
He lamented he is the lamest of the three.
Nevertheless, Tobey Maguire reminded him that he is amazing.
Furthermore, Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man can pick up other plot lines as well.

For example, he never resolved his overarching story with lost love Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).
Although he found redemption in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he can find closure now.
Granted, Andrew Garfield mentioned he had closure in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Still, wouldn’t it be powerful to watch its full resolution?
Sony can produce new Spider-Man movies without affecting the MCU.
Indeed, each universe can be independent.
And what can be even more marvelous than having a collaborative story every now and then?
At this point, it won’t be just Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man with a new franchise.
Even Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man can explore new plot possibilities.
What about Miles Morales?

And we are only talking about the heroes.
What about the villains?
Perhaps it is also the best time to continue with their plans for the Sinister Six.
Fans have anticipated them appearing.
Andrew Garfield expressed continuing his portrayal.
He can no longer hide his excitement at the possibility of acting alongside Maguire and Holland again.
Admittedly, he has taken the “middle sibling” status among the three.
The trio’s chemistry is undeniable.
Fans rave at the humor each Spider-Man tosses on the table.
At least for now, Andrew Garfield can no longer deny being in the MCU.
It is high time that his Spider-Man gets the appreciation it deserves.
