Suits Season Nine isn’t available on Netflix despite all preceding seasons already streaming on the service. However, it can be viewed elsewhere.
Nearly four years after airing its final episode, the USA Network’s acclaimed legal drama Suits is setting ratings records on Netflix. Thanks to the power of streaming, Suits has now racked up more than three billion minutes of watch time.
No surprise there given that Suits, as a whole, holds an astonishing Rotten Tomatoes score of 91% with critics.
Moreover, the show also starred Meghan Markle, who as you probably know has become somewhat of a controversial figure following her marriage to Prince Harry. No doubt her role as a main character in Suits brought in millions of new viewers after the unexpected couple announced their engagement.
However, the world famous actress turned royal left the show after the Season Seven finale.

It’s difficult to gauge how much impact Markle now has on the series. After all, Suits is a high-quality drama that was ahead of its time. With its witty banter, rapid-fire pop-culture references, and snarky but lovable characters, Suits is addicting.
Those who caught the show the first time around on the USA Network were reeled in immediately. It’s worthy of the classic Netflix binge. Markle may get the attention now, but Suits has a deep bench of top-drawer actors such as Rick Hoffman (as Louis Litt) and Amanda Schull (as Katrina Bennett).
In addition, it was nominated for numerous awards throughout its eight year run with two of its main cast members, (Patrick J. Adams and Gina Torres), receiving individual attention. Torres went on to win the award for Outstanding Performance in a Television Series at the 2013 NHMC Impact Awards.
Furthermore, Torres’ respective popularity with viewers also spawned a short-lived spin-off program which centered on her character Jessica Lourdes Pearson. Titled Pearson, it aired alongside the ninth and final season of Suits.
The first eight seasons of the show are currently available to stream on Netflix, where a vast majority of these ratings records originate. It has remained in the Top 10 of Netflix’s most-watched TV shows for many weeks and still counting.

For some reason though, the final season isn’t available on Netflix, much to the disappointment and confusion of fans. Nonetheless, the ninth season is still available to watch via a different streaming service.
Due to licensing issues, Netflix only has the outside streaming rights to the initial eight seasons while Amazon Prime Video has the outside streaming rights to Season Nine.
Peacock, who owns the USA Network, has all nine seasons available via their own streaming service.
