Robert Pattinson could go from one vampire to another in a new film.
The new Batman played the heartthrob bloodsucker Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga.
While the role launched Robert Pattinson’s career, he has regularly expressed his regret of taking it on.
Consequently, you’d think the actor would not want to play another vampire character.
Robert Pattinson might actually be getting a taste for biting necks once again.
In fact, A new report leaks that he’s in negotiations to resurrect cinema’s first vampire to the big screen: Nosferatu.
In 1922, F. W. Murnau directed the eerie silent German Expressionist horror movie Nosferatu.
The film was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula.
This is no pin-up vampire; if it’s faithful to the original, Robert Pattinson would look like an evil goblin.
According to the article, The Lighthouse director Robert Eggers has had his heart set on making this project for a while now.
The report said:
For director Robert Eggers, this is a passion project. He’s wanted to get this remake done for a long time and has said that he’s given blood to it. He’s being careful to choose actors he knows and trusts.
One of them is his The Lighthouse star Robert Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson In Talks To Play Vampire In New Movie
Nosferatu is apparently scheduled to begin filming in the fall; Robert Pattinson is expected to be the lead.
The report explained:
We’ve learned that Nosferatu is scheduled to begin shooting in the fall. That means they need the actor to make a decision one way or the other soon. These talks are bound to include scheduling considerations and money, but the decision likely means a lot more than that to Pattinson.
Should Robert Pattinson sign on, it would make this his second biggest movie role that he has going after The Batman.
Robert Pattinson’s career continues to grow; moreover, his Twilight days are firmly behind him.
Hopefully, Nosferatu will be the role that redeems him in the eyes of fans of vampire movies.
