Marvel’s The Hulk will fight a mutant and another Hulk in his next film. However, it simply won’t be labeled a Hulk movie. Insiders tell me that the Wolverine vs. the Hulk picture I initially scooped in the private Geekosity Facebook group on August 31, 2019, remains in development, but changes are being discussed. Specifically, adding Red Hulk.
I last updated this project in June 2020. Back then, the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight hunted Wolverine after he escaped from a government facility.
Then known as Weapon X, he is violent, angry, and extremely powerful.
While pursuing Wolverine, Alpha Flight confronts the Hulk, who simply wants to be left alone in the icy Canadian wilderness. However, he is not Professor Hulk from Avengers: Infinity War; he is classic Hulk, brimming with rage and fury.
And Wolverine isn’t the only wanted man.
Wolverine To Battle Red Hulk In Future Marvel Film
The Hulk is being pursued by General “Thunderbolt” Ross, who has become the Red Hulk, played by William Hurt in the MCU.
How Ross is transformed into the Red Hulk will be revealed prior to this film in another project.
Another mystery is to why the Hulk is being sought by the U.S. military.
Leaks often arrive in broken parts; I refer to them as puzzle pieces. This is mainly because information is taken from internal conversations where the ideas are freely tossed.
Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuiness created the Red Hulk. He debuted in Hulk No. 1 in 2008 and is among the Marvel characters most speculated to appear in the MCU.
Hurt will be in Black Widow; however, since the movie is set in the past it’s doubtful he is going to turn into the Red Hulk then.
Contrary to previous rumors, Marvel Studios still cannot release a theatrical Hulk film because of a licensing agreement with Universal.
This is going to be a similar arrangement like Thor: Ragnarok in that it is a Wolverine movie with the Hulk or Hulks providing support.
