Margot Robbie Ready For More Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie, revealed that she’s ready to be back as Harley Quinn. Will she get her chance at it again?

We reported last July that Robbie was not sure about her future in the DC Films.

She said that she needed a break from the role since she was working back-to-back with Cathy Yan’sBirds of Pray” and James Gunn’sThe Suicide Squad.

In that report, we also said that this is only because there are no projects lined up with Harley Quinn in mind.

In a recent interview with ET Online while promoting The Suicide Squad, she said:

No, I’ve had enough of a break. I’m ready to do her again. I did Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad back-to-back, so that was a lot of Harley all in a one-year period, but that was a while ago now. I’m always ready for more Harley!

Here, Robbie said it herself.

She is ready to be back as Harleen Quinzel.

We do hope that DC Films does get her back.

Margot Robbie has made Harley Quinn as her own.

The character herself was popular enough.

But with Robbie’s live action portrayal, it just gave a refreshing life to the villainess.

She was so popular that in the “Birds of Prey” movie, they added her name to the title with “Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.”

Robbie herself also wanted to get the character Poison Ivy into a movie because she wants to see their romantic relationship translate on the silver screen.

In the animated series Harley Quinn, shown on HBO Max, the episode “There’s No Place to Go But Down” (May 15, 2020) pointed out that Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn do have feelings for each other.

The couple is also known to be married which happened in Injustice: Year Zero #8 (October 2020) written by Tom Taylor with art by Cian Tormey and Rain Beredo.

The Injustice comics takes place in an alternate reality, before the events of the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us (2013).

Note that in Earth-Prime (DC’s primary universe), Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are both aware of their love.

Poison Ivy died while she was in a mental facility but she was revived by Wally West (known as the Flash or Kid Flash) by using the Speed Force on a rose that was given to Harley.

Margot Robbie was also asked if she knew about Leslie Grace’s casting as the new Batgirl for HBO Max.

The interviewer asked what it would be like for Batgirl and Harley Quinn to be onscreen together.

To confirm she is looking forward to it, Robbie jokingly said:

Yeah, I’m calling– Warner Bros, can you put me through to DC? Yeah, thank you. I’m on it. Don’t worry.

We do wonder if she’ll get a role in any of the upcoming movies.

We also do hope that Harley Quinn gets the chance to be with Poison Ivy in the DCEU.

It really depends if the writers will put her into the story.

It would be great to have her in, it would give the DCEU have bit of coherence.

And fans love seeing Harley Quinn’s wacky antics and Margot Robbie embodies her through and through.
