Filipino-American actress Hailee Steinfeld will be the focus of Hawkeye‘s Season Two.
Even though Hawkeye hasn’t started yet, it’s scheduled to be released by November 24, 2021.
Moreover, a second season is already being developed.
The first season is focused on Clint Barton’s (Jeremy Renner) passing of the torch of Hawkeye to Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).
It is inspired from Matt Fraction’s writing.
The series will also feature the return of Yelena Belova a.k.a. Black Widow, played by Florence Pugh.
The MCU Disney Plus shows gained tremendous popularity.
Consequently, all the series after WandaVision are planned to continue.
The quality of these programs still had that MCU charm (with the anticipation of the end credits as well).
It continued that “everything is connected” feeling and it makes you want more of what’s next for the MCU.
The second season throws the spotlight on Hailee Steinfeld.
The main inspiration for Season Two will be the comic book Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, which was released from 2016-2018.
The entire series was written by Kelly Thompson and drawn by Leonardo Romero.
In Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, she still works with Barton.

Their mentor/student relationship is the heart of the book.
However, despite this, they are still highly competitive towards each other’s merit.
At some point, Bishop decides to be on her own for a while.
Later on, she realizes that Barton’s actions was her inspiration to be the new Hawkeye.
No news yet if Renner will reprise his role in Season Two.
He will either retire as Hawkeye on Season One or simply take a supporting role in Season Two.
Hawkeye will then focus more on Hailee Steinfeld’s character.
Consequently, Renner can take a back seat on this.
Season Two is still in the early stages; it’s highly likely that it’s on another phase of Marvel Studios.
The MCU is on fire on Disney Plus.
They will drop Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, and Armor Wars in 2021-2022.
There are also second seasons for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki.
Hawkeye picks up where Black Widow left off.
