Samuel L. Jackson Calls Out Trolls Targeting Brie Larson

Samuel L. Jackson has called out the online trolls who’ve targeted and continuously harassed Brie Larson and unfairly review bombed Captain Marvel. Despite the best efforts of the basement dwellers who hoped that review bombing Captain Marvel would have effect on it’s overall performance at the box office, it all ended in vain.

In addition to receiving positive reviews from critics and general moviegoers, the film went on to earn a whopping $1.128 billion worldwide. This currently makes Captain Marvel the tenth highest grossing film in the entire MCU and also one of ten entries to have crossed the $1 billion mark.

Moreover, the movie helped actress Brie Larson become a household name like many of her fellow MCU stars. So no matter what any internet troll says, don’t listen because it’s obvious that Captain Marvel was a colossal success for Marvel Studios.

Nonetheless, this hasn’t stopped them from harassing Brie Larson and unfairly insulting her performance as the powerful Avenger. Even now they’ve set their sights on the upcoming sequel The Marvels, which will see Larson’s Carol Danvers team up with Iman Vellani’s Kamala Kahn and Teyonna Parris’ Monica Rambeu.

The first official trailer for The Marvels is currently the most disliked MCU movie trailer on YouTube and has been subjected to endless hate comments. Just pathetic.

Recently longtime MCU actor and co-star of both Captain Marvel and The Marvels Samuel L. Jackson, recently came out in defence of Brie Larson. On top of Nick Fury being one of Captain Marvel’s closest allies, both Samuel L. Jackson and Brie Larson have collaborated on two other films.

These being the second entry in Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse, Kong: Skull Island and Unicorn Store which was also Larson’s directorial debut. So it’s no surprise that the two acclaimed actors are close.

Furthermore, Samuel L. Jackson even gave some strong words to these internet trolls who’ve gone after his friend. During an interview with Rolling Stone, the actor didn’t hold back by saying:

“These incel dudes who hate strong women, or the fact that she’s a feminist who has an opinion and expressed it? Everybody wants people to be who they want them to be. She is who she is, and she’s genuinely that.”

Not a truer word has been spoken.
