Ray Fisher has begun to hype up Zack Snyder’s upcoming sci-fi epic Rebel Moon in a recent Tweet.

Undoubtedly one of Zack Snyder’s most vocal and supportive collaborators is Cyborg actor Ray Fisher. Before Zack Snyder cast Ray Fisher as the DCEU’s Cyborg, the actor was best known for his work in theatre.

Particularly for his moving portrayal of the legendary heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali. Ray Fisher made his theatrical debut and first appearance as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

While only being a brief cameo, we still get to see a glimpse of Victor Stone’s tragic origin story. He would go on to reprise the role a year later in the Justice League movie.

Moreover, Ray Fisher was even meant to star in his own Cyborg solo film that was announced back in 2014. Nonetheless, this sadly never came to be after the actor called out Warner Bros. for it’s toxic work environment.

After BVS failed to meet expectations, the studio infamously brought in Joss Whedon to retool Snyder’s Justice League. Initially, Ray Fisher unconvincingly offered nothing but praise for Whedon and his work on the movie.

However, when the movie flopped, the actor dropped this façade and opened up on all the behind the scenes drama. Fisher explained the emotional distress that he and other cast members went through during the reshoots.

A majority of the actor’s most integral scenes were ultimately cut from the final theatrical release. Furthermore, he even accused Whedon and former DC chief Walter Hamada of racism.

Thankfully, his full performance was restored when Zack Snyder’s Justice League was finally released. In addition, Ray Fisher’s set to reunite with Zack Snyder in his upcoming two-part sci-fi blockbuster Rebel Moon.

He’ll portray Darrian Bloodaxe, a warrior recruited by Sofia Boutella’s lead character Kora. Recently, the actor took to Twitter to hype up Rebel Moon after watching some official footage.

The actor said:

“Get ready cosplayers—y’all are gonna feast for decades!!!”
