Say what now?

A female version of the Thing isn’t unknown to Marvel Comics readers. There’s a character who goes by the alias She-Thing in the comics named Sharon Ventura.

Unsurprisingly, this led to widespread confusion and dissatisfaction from fans who want a faithful adaptation of Marvel’s first family. Nonetheless, Mila Kunis has officially come out and debunked these rumors saying she won’t be in The Fantastic Four.

She set the record straight whilst appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Patrick Stewart. Mila Kunis explained how having lunch with someone in the industry can lead to endless internet gossip.

Moreover, she also revealed that she does in fact know who’s going to star in the MCU’s The Fantastic Four movie. This confirms that some, if not all, of the team have already been cast by Marvel Studios.

When acknowledging the rumors of her involvement, Mila Kunis said:

Apparently, if you go to lunch with somebody who is also in the industry, you then start working together according to the internet, we went to a deli and had lunch together and the, the next day, I was somehow in Fantastic Four. I am not in Fantastic Four, but I know who is.

Granted, various Marvel Studios stars have denied their involvement prior to news hitting the trades. But Kunis portraying an obscure version of a popular superhero? Made of rocks?

No, this isn’t Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.

This is Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige’s initial swing at his beloved Fantastic Four.

We didn’t see it even before Kunis shot it down.

It can’t be long before we get an official announcement from Feige about who really plays the Thing.
