Michael Keaton Batman official promo art from The Flash has given us our best look yet at his new Batsuit. Upon initially being announced, anticipation for the return of Michael Keaton as Batman was immediately at an all-time high.
It went above and beyond after the first trailer for The Flash released earlier this year. Without a doubt, Michael Keaton stole the show in the short footage that was shown.
He reminded audiences that he is Batman. For many, his portrayal of the caped crusader was the definitive live action depiction.
After all, he starred in the character’s first major feature film excluding Adam West’s classic 1966 TV spin-off. In addition, Michael Keaton was responsible for introducing Batman to a whole new generation back in 1989.

His more serious and comic accurate take on Batman gave new life to the franchise until Joel Schumacher came along. Moreover, the universally acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series would never have happened without Michael Keaton’s Batman movies.
So it’s no surprise that fans were beyond excited to learn about his role in The Flash movie. Furthermore, it’s was also revealed that Michael Keaton would continue to play Batman in future DCEU movies.
Including a live-action Batman Beyond movie. Keaton was also set to reprise his role in a planned Batgirl solo movie which he did film scenes for.
Nonetheless, the movie was infamously canned by Warner Bros., thus leaving Michael Keaton’s future in question. Once DC Studios was formed, it more or less confirmed that Keaton’s return would be a one and done deal.
Whilst this is unfortunate, it’ll still be good to see him back in the cape and cowl for one last time. With The Flash set to premiere later this month at CinemaCon 2023, promotion is now in full swing.
Already more effort has been put into The Flash’s promotion than last month’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Promo art featuring the movie’s three lead superheroes has now been officially released.

One being a full look at Michael Keaton in his brand new Batsuit. Definitely more modern than what we last saw in 1992’s Batman Returns but still maintaining its charm.
