From the moment it was announced that Disney was buying 20th Century Fox, speculation on who could play Marvel’s first family began spreading like a wildfire.

Known for his Emmy nominated role as Richie Jerimovich in the comedy-drama series The Bear, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is reportedly in line to play The Thing. Pop culture fans will probably remember him for his recent role as Arvel Skeen in three episodes of the hit Star Wars Disney Plus series Andor.
In addition, he previously portrayed Frank Castle’s partner David Lieberman A.K.A. Micro in the first season of Netflix’s The Punisher. So should he end up being cast as The Thing in the Fantastic Four reboot, this’ll make him another actor to play more than one character in the MCU.

Much like Ben Grimm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is of Jewish decent which is something that Marvel Studios is looking for. Furthermore this rumour originates from the Reddit community r/DCEULeaks.
A rather bizarre source but one that seems to hold more merit than other rumours that are circling the web. Even if Ebon Moss-Bachrach is in negotiations with Marvel for the role, we’ll likely not have confirmation until a deal has been reached between the studios and their writers and actors.
