Everything To Know About The Kraven The Hunter Movie 01 Aaron Taylor-Johnson

All we know about Sony’s Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson directed by J.C. Chandor.

After Venom’s surprisingly impressive Box Office haul, it’s no wonder that Sony went full speed ahead with a sequel titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The movie is already in its post production. Other spin-offs from Spider-Man’s library of characters such as Morbius is also in post production.

Kraven the Hunter movie starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Sergei Kravinoff is still currently in the early stages of development.

Kraven is set to be helmed by Triple Frontier director J.C. Chandor with scheduled release date for January 13, 2023.

At this point in time little is still known about this upcoming spin-off other than who will be bringing the Marvel universe’s most famous hunter into live action for the first time and who will be behind the cameras when they start rolling.

A recent article has offered insight into the background of the popular Spider-Man villain as well as what we can expect from his solo movie.

Meanwhile, nothing official has been revealed about the plot of the movie other than most likely being an origin story.

Though rumors have as expected ran wild throughout the internet with some gaining more traction than others.

Among these possible plot is one that draws inspiration from the famous ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ storyline which heavily featured Spider-Man.

However, everything storywise is still up in the air. There is also a question whether this film will take place in the MCU itself.

It is looking more and more likely that these Sony-made Marvel movies will have a loose connection to the wider Marvel movie universe.

It is important to point out that Feige confirms that Spider-Man now has the ability to cross between cinematic universes. This is evident with Michael Keaton’s Vulture showing up in Morbius and the Multiverse that is now in play.

Nonetheless, it seems unlikely that other than an indirect mention or a possible cameo, Spidey will be appearing in this movie.

However, it’s strongly suggested that the villain will be another member of Spider-Man’s rogues’ gallery.

Dimitri Smerdyakov A.K.A. The Chameleon is also the half-brother of Kraven the Hunter.

While all of this is still just speculation at present, it seems safe to assume that this is the route that Sony is intending to take with Kraven in his solo movie.

Further, it is possible that the certainty of this project coming to fruition depends on the success of both Venom and Morbius.
