Merchandise for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teases a new Avengers. This is a different version of the team. In fact, they might not be good guys.
There are more rumors surrounding Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness than there are universes in the multiverse.
Moreover, any of them could be true.
Indeed, anything is possible with the multiverse.
The Doctor Strange sequel is the next major theatrical release for Marvel Studios.
Thus, the movie’s promotion has kicked in.
The first trailer was released online.
In addition, it was a post-credit tease to Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Furthermore, we’ve got our first look at the merchandise.
This includes action figures, LEGO sets, and clothes.
However, neither the trailer nor any of the merchandise we’ve seen has given us much to go on.
Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Features New Avengers Team
In other words, which way the movie’s plot is going to go?
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a mystery box.
What’s in it?
As with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios is keeping a very tight lid on the film.
Nevertheless, like with Spider-Man: No Way Home, the secrets aren’t safe.
Indeed, some are inevitably going to slip out.
Amazon revealed a new T-shirt with a silver Avengers logo.
There’s also a red background.
At first glance, it looks like just a standard Avengers T-shirt.
Specifically, it seems to be associated with 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
It has Ultron’s primary colors.
But Amazon has listed it as from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Tellingly, they provided a description for the T-shirt. Well, it’s more than that.
It’s a massive spoiler.
It reads:
Experience Doctor Stephen Strange in a whole new mind-bending adventure with Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This Avengers t-shirt showcases the Avengers logo for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes that might just be from a whole new multiverse.
This T-shirt is an officially licensed piece of merchandise.
Granted, there’s still a chance the description might not be accurate.
Nonetheless, it hasn’t stopped mass speculation amongst fans.
This also lines up with the rumor that Tom Cruise appears as a Tony Stark variant.
If this rumor is true, a cameo from the Avengers with a different cast is on the table.
Furthermore, the logo’s resemblance to Ultron might hint at something ominous.
Tony Stark’s Ultron program in Avengers: Age of Ultron could’ve worked.
Consequently, it created a suit of armor around the world.
This would be a interesting reality to tap into.
Whether or not this will happen in the flick remains to be seen.
Nothing is impossible for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
