Adam Warlock powers up in a brand new 30-second TV spot for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3.
After six years of waiting, the third instalment in James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy trilogy is nearly here. The director and his all-star cast have promised a deeply emotional story that’ll leave viewers in tears.
From what we’ve seen from the trailer’s so far, it’s looking that promise will be kept. Moreover, this’ll also be the last time we see this lineup of the team together.
It’s been confirmed that not all members of the Guardian will survive in the upcoming sequel. Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautista) sadly being the most likely candidates.

After all, the plot mainly revolves around Rocket who James Gunn says is the true protagonist of Vol. 3. We’ll finally see how he came to be the unlikely short-tempered hero he is today.
The footage we’ve seen so far has teased his heart breaking origin story. His creator The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) serves as the film’s main antagonist.
As for Drax, actor Dave Bautista has stated that this will be the last time he’ll portray the character. Nonetheless, it seems as good a time as any to conclude Drax’s story now that his family has been avenged.
Furthermore, new cosmic characters will be introduced to the MCU during the Guardians’ swan song. In addition to The High Evolutionary, fan favourite anti-hero Adam Warlock will at long last make his live action debut.
English actor Will Poulter will portray Adam Warlock. From what we’ve seen in the trailer’s so far, he’ll play a more antagonistic role in the movie.
Understandable given his creator Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) has a grudge with the Guardians following the events of Vol. 2. In a new 30-second TV spot for Vol. 3, we see a glimpse of Adam Warlock using his god-like abilities.

His hand glows as he looks like he’s about to take down an unfortunate victim. While we don’t see the result of him using his powers, we already know they’ll be devastating.
The TV spot also showcased footage of Nebula with a new bionic arm canon and Gamora leading the Ravagers. We also see a hilarious exchange between Star-Lord and Drax over the latter thinking a sofa is a bed. Overall Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 looks to be a return to form for Marvel Studios.
