With the recent success of WandaVision and now The Falcon and The Winter Soldier just getting started with a promising opening episode, excitement for the rest of Marvel Studios’ Disney Plus shows are higher than ever before.
Fans particularly look forward to the long-anticipated introduction of anti-hero Moon Knight.
Moon Knight has been rumored to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Phase II. This was back at the D23 Expo in 2019.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced a six-part series for Disney Plus with Jeremy Slater confirmed to serve as the show runner not long after.
Star Wars sequel trilogy star Oscar Isaac has been attached to play Moon Knight but has not yet been officially been confirmed by Feige.
Nevertheless, comments from actor Ethan Hawke further solidified Oscar Isaac’s involvement.
Oscar Isaac Displays Moon Knight Fighting Skills in New Video

Hawke was cast as an unnamed villain on the show; moreover, he credits Oscar Issac as fueling his decision to join the cast.
Hawke explained:
I find him to be a very exciting player in my field. I like what he’s doing with his life. He reminds me of the actors, when I first arrived at New York, that I looked up to. Oscar’s younger than me, and I like the way he carries himself, and I like the way he thinks. And in general, good things happen when you’re in the room with people that you like the way they think, right?
