Zack Snyder Hints At Returning For Justice League Sequel

Zack Snyder is at it again, teasing returning to a Justice League sequel. Furthermore, this follows Henry Cavill and The Rock dropping Superman hints.

Is the Snyderverse… alive?

Zack Snyder’s Thanksgiving post on Vero featured a sneaky background cameo.

Behind a turkey was DC Comics’ Final Crisis.

Although in the back, it’s in plain sight.

Of course, a visual stylist like Zack Snyder is aware of it.

He knows exactly where to place it.

Indeed, it’s subtle but visible.

Moreover, it’s not so blatant that it looks like an announcement.

Zack Snyder likes to play with social media.

Vero is his loudspeaker even when the message is cryptic.

Despite what Warner Bros. refuses to say, Zack Snyder’s Justice League was a roaring success for HBO Max.

In addition, it’s still topping the charts in Blu-ray sales

Fans, critics and general audiences loved it.

However, much to the studio’s annoyance it publicly made them look incompetent.

After all, desperately tried to deny the movie’s existence.

In fact, they prevented it from being released.

Thankfully, Warner Bros. couldn’t keep The Snyder Cut trapped in the Phantom Zone.

In less than a year the film became a cultural phenomenon.

Many disregard the existence of Joss Whedon’s Justice League.

Those who petitioned AT&T and Warner Bros. for The Snyder Cut now rally together to persuade future owner Discovery to restore the Snyderverse.

Once the acquisition is finalized in mid-2022, it’s highly likely.

Money talks.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, Zack Snyder posted a picture of his cooked Thanksgiving turkey saying:

“Thankful.”

This may not look DC-related at first glance.

Nonetheless, in the background you can clearly see a book:

Final Crisis.

Doubters will claim Zack Snyder didn’t notice it.

Come on, man.

Grant Morrison wrote 2008’s Final Crisis.

To those unfamiliar with it, Final Crisis has connections to The Snyder Cut.

First of all, it’s main villain is Darkseid.

Darkseid finally succeeds in using the dreaded Anti-Life equation to conquer all of reality.

In addition, it’s also to corrupt various DC heroes.

Furthermore, the story ultimately ends with Batman’s death.

Zack Snyder previously revealed he planned to end his Justice League saga with Batman sacrificing himself.

Indeed, this was what Zack Snyder was building towards for the DCEU.

The Snyder Cut ended with Darkseid readying his armada to conquer Earth.

This was to find the Anti-Life equation. It paved the way for Justice League 2.

Likewise, Batman v Superman and The Snyder Cut showcased scenes that foreshadowed what was to come.

Specifically, Superman becomes a minion of Darkseid after Lois Lane’s death.

This is too big to be a coincidence.

Could Zack Snyder already be having discussions with Discovery in advance of the upcoming merger?

Just like Thanksgiving dinner, something is definitely cooking.
