Written by Edwin Francisco

Accordign to Small Screen, the odds that Michael Fassbender may be the new James Bond has risen.

With Daniel Craig ending his tenure as James Bond with No Time To Die, people are talking about who will be next?

Craig has been the longest-serving James Bond since 2006’s Casino Royale.

Making him have 15 years in total being 007.

He has five movies into the role. They are Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time To Die.

Unlike most James Bond movies, they fully connect to each other.

With the death of Craig’s version of James Bond in the last film, we wonder who’ll take the title.

It’s not news to James Bond fans to discuss who will take the reign as the new MI6 agent.

It’s a normal process which has been done for years now.

Regardless of who the current actor was for James Bond, as soon as they decide to leave, people speculate.

Many actors have been discussed to be the new James Bond including Henry Cavill (The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Man of Steel), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones, Eternals), Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders), Idris Elba (The Suicide Squad), Regé-Jean Page (Dungeons & Dragons), and Tom Hardy (Venom).

Even former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan shared his take that he thought Elba or even Hardy would be great actors to be the new agent.

Nothing is official at this time, but it won’t stop fans from speculating who the new agent will be.

For now, Michael Fassbender, as reported by Small Screen, is looking like one of the top contenders based on the results from Oddschecker.

Michael Fassbender has proven himself as one of the best modern actors today.

He has won several awards from the Online Film Critic Society, Irish Film & Television Awards, Empire Awards, and British Independent Film Awards.

In 2016, GQ asked Fassbender if he’ll take the role of James Bond.

Michael Fassbender replied that he doesn’t think he’ll be Bond.

He thinks that if a reboot happened, it should start with a younger Bond.

On the contrary, he also suggested other actors, like Ryan Gosling, Jack O’ Connell, or even a female version of James Bond.

Undoubtedly, Michael Fassbender has the class, style and the finesse that is fitting to be the next James Bond.

Indeed, I can imagine Michael Fassbender saying “A martini. Shaken, not stirred.”
