Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Daredevil’s Kingpin in next week’s Hawkeye.

The third episode of Hawkeye teased the Kingpin.

Although they didn’t show his face, it was the Kingpin.

Although Vincent D’Onofrio‘s back, this isn’t the same Kingpin.

Well, not exactly.

Of course, he’ll look like the Kingpin from Netflix’ Daredevil.

Granted, weeks ago a leaked pic revealed Vincent D’Onofrio with hideous CGI.

Gossip circulated that the Kingpin was more comic accurate.

No, it wasn’t.

It looked like Jabba the Hutt in a suit.

Vincent D’Onofrio debunked it quickly.

This guy in the pic is more handsome I think.

Lords of the Longbox host Tim Vo exclaimed:

That looks awful.

Geekosity didn’t run the rumor nor the image.

Quite frankly, the staff couldn’t stop laughing.

Considering how the Kingpin scares criminals on Hawkeye, he’s still no joke.

Even though he’s not seen yet, his presence is felt.

In Hawkeye‘s last installment, Kate Bishop’s mother (Vera Farmiga) leaves an urgent voicemail.

The recipient isn’t shown.

However, her nervous energy is palpable.

It has to be the Kingpin.

How Marvel Studios will portray the Kingpin is a mystery.

After all, Daredevil was in a different continuity.

This Kingpin is a soft reboot.

Daredevil was produced under the original Marvel TV department.

It wasn’t from Marvel Studios.

Furthermore, the series still streams on Netflix.

Disney Plus isn’t helping their competitor.

Nonetheless, Daredevil remains canon as part of the multiverse.

Thus, Marvel Studios will keep what they like.

They’ll toss out the rest such as Finn Jones’ Iron Fist.

As for the new Kingpin, the puzzle pieces are there.

The Kingpin controls the violent Tracksuit Mafia.

The crime underworld is in his hands.

The brutal Echo (Alaqua Cox) calls him “Uncle.”

Vincent D’Onofrio will be the first of Netflix’ Defenders to enter the MCU.

As a cast member, at least.

The Kingpin is no hero.

After the Kingpin crashes through Hawkeye, what about his arch enemy?

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed Charlie Cox is back as Daredevil.

Cox is in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The Kingpin explodes on social media next week.

Add Cox and it’ll be nuclear annihilation.
