Vincent D’Onofrio raises expectations for his reunion with Charlie Cox on Daredevil: Born Again.

D’Onofrio shares he is happy to return for Daredevil: Born Again. Like Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio comes from the Marvel Netflix series that is about to step into the MCU. Prior to Daredevil: Born Again, D’Onofrio already appeared in the main universe as the Kingpin in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye.

While fans pointed out there is a difference in his intensity from the Netflix version, he is still very much Wilson Fisk. How the character survives his last scene with Echo, though, is a different story.

Years after the third season from Netflix streamed its finale, Daredevil left fans wanting more. They have been asking when they could see the next installment to his story. For a time, they even started doubting if there ever will be. Until Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye came around. After that, it was utter fandom elation. Everyone rejoiced in the knowledge that Daredevil is coming to the MCU fold. Plus, that follow up hope that the rest of the Defenders and Punisher will trail with him shortly.

Needless to say, actors in the series are happy. Vincent D’Onofrio is no different. In fact, the actor celebrates this confirmation of their upcoming MCU series. He does this through his Twitter account, posting his photo with Cox during their presentation at the SDCC a few months ago.

The two actors confirmed for their respective entries in the MCU were all smiles in the photo. Fans at the convention roared with the applause and you can still somehow “hear” them cheer as the two actors stand arm-in-arm on stage.

Truly, these are the best years to be a Daredevil fan. Evidently, Marvel Studios is positioning the series as an essential aspect of MCU’s future. Matthew Murdock, Wilson Fisk, and the rest of the characters in Daredevil still have a lot to tell. That, and the fact that they also connect to other projects such as Hawkeye, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo. Fans didn’t have to wait too long to see Daredevil in the MCU. Because She-Hulk took care of that. The Man Without Fear appeared in full vintage and comic-accurate red and yellow garb. He was wonderful.

D’Onofrio acknowledged his impending reunion with Charlie Cox is just absolutely exciting. He stated:

Truly looking forward to working with my friend Charlie again. I know I can speak for Charlie as well when I say we promise to bring you an incredible Daredevil: Born Again.

We believe it.
