Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Date Leak

The date and time for Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has leaked, and it’s coming up fast.

The YouTube channel Lords of the Longbox told us the trailer will crash the Internet on Monday, August 23 at 8 a.m. PST.

There has been a lot of speculation with the upcoming Marvel Studios production. Spider-Man: No Way Home is the final chapter of Peter Parker’s high-school days.

Moreover, this is the first MCU movie we have heard that will break the rules of timelines and traditional storytelling.

It will include characters from previous Spider-Man movies outside of Marvel Studios.

In other words, these are Spider-Man heroes and villains who existed even before the MCU became a thing.

Ever since Sony released the animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, many Marvel Studios fans hoped that this would be some kind of template as to how MCU’s multiverse will happen.

Sometime after that, I leaked way back in October 2019. that Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield might be joining the latest Tom Holland sequel. The Geekosity website didn’t exist then; nevertheless, the Showbiz Cheat Sheet covered my scoop here.

Both Marvel Studios and Sony, who is releasing the film, have been quiet.

Alfred Molina himself said that his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home was “the worst kept secret in Hollywood!” That alone confirmed my reports of the multiverse happening.

However, there was still no confirmation of Maguire nor Garfield.

This has been one of the most secretive that we’ve seen with Marvel Studios or even Sony for that matter.

We have not seen any information about the movie.

The only thing we have are very few images of Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon.

We don’t even get a picture of Spider-Man.

Now with the movie just a few months away, we still haven’t seen any trailers.

This is generally unusual since even Sony’s Morbius showed a trailer in January 2020 for a movie scheduled for January 2022.

Or how about Venom: Let There Be Carnage?

The trailer was initially shown in May 2021. The film is scheduled to be released in September 2021.

Or how about Marvel Studios’ biggest movie yet Avengers: Endgame? That had a trailer in December 2018. The film wasn’t released until April 2019.

The trailer is close. Monday is just a few days away.

In an interview, Kevin Feige said:

Shang-Chi is coming out, the Eternals trailer just came out, but yes on December 17, we have the third in our Homecoming trilogy with Sony and Jon Watts and with Tom Holland. I can only guarantee there will be a trailer before the movie comes out.

Asad Ayaz, Walt Disney Studios Marketing President, added:

Sony is absolutely handling the marketing for Spider-Man. Kevin Feige and his team are closely partnering with the Sony team on those. So there is coordination in that sense. We also make sure we are aware of who is dropping what when. But we are not working together on the campaigns because it’s their film. They are handling it but there is a level of coordination to make sure that it’s a win-win for everybody.
