Tom Holland tossed in his support for Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 3. After Sony released Spider-Man: No Way Home, the chatter began. Some of it was wishful thinking. Beyond that, speculation started.
Could The Amazing Spider-Man 3 finally happen?
On December 30, 2021, I scooped that Sony and Disney discussed a Spider-Men movie.
The film would reunite Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
However, it won’t include Tom Holland.
After all, they didn’t want to copy Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Nevertheless, I stated that everything is on the table.
Sony has a feast of possibilities before them.
Nothing can be ruled out.
Part of that is The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Although The Amazing Spider-Man 2 didn’t exactly flop, Sony wasn’t pleased with its performance.
First, the critics threw Rotten Tomatoes at it.

Secondly, the film didn’t light up the box office.
Thus, Sony tossed the white flag.
Marvel Studios rushed to the rescue.
They ripped it up and started again.
They replaced Andrew Garfield with Tom Holland.
Sony crushed the third movie like a bug.
At that time, that seemed to the end.
Certainly, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has its share of defenders.
For example, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had palpable chemistry.
But the film was overstuffed.
On the other hand, Andrew Garfield delivered one of Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s performances.
Arguably, he matched Tom Holland’s powerful acting.

Tom Holland has secured his Spider-Man future.
For Andrew Garfield, he will enter negotiations.
There’s no doubt he’ll return.
But what about The Amazing Spider-Man 3?
Tom Holland is all for it.
Let it happen.
He said in an interview:
I would love to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I think what was so wonderful was how Andrew was able to kind of make amends with the character and the studio, you know, to kind of win the general public back.
Tom Holland was impressed by one scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home in particular.
It brought the house down.
He added:
That scene where he saved Zendaya like the fan reactions in the theater, was so spectacular. So, should Sony decide to do that? They would have my full support, and obviously, so would Andrew.
Decision time for Sony.
