Tom Holland Shocked By Crazy Plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home

Tom Holland was shocked when he discovered the wild plot to Spider-Man: No Way Home. In a new interview, Tom Holland revealed his initial reaction to the pitch.

He admitted:

It’s just not going to happen.

In spite of Tom Holland’s skepticism, it did happen.

Spider-Man: No Way Home features the return of previous web-spinners Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Indeed, when Geekosity owner Mikey Sutton first scooped the return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in October 2019, it seemed insane.

Certainly, Tom Holland’s disbelief is understandable.

However, neither Sony nor Disney have confirmed this.

Not officially, that is.

Through various leaks and hints, Sony has. (LOL, Sony, LOL.)

With Eternals now in theaters that leaves only one more MCU movie left for 2021.

In fact, Spider-Man: No Way Home is easily the most anticipated.

In 2019, Sony and Disney announced they reached a new agreement to keep Spider-Man in the MCU for his third solo movie and beyond.

Since then, Spider-Man: No Way Home instantly became the most talked-about movie online.

Furthermore, there were countless Internet rumors and theories about where Spider-Man: No Way Home’s story could end up going.

Some of them were confirmed; others were debunked.

Still, a few have yet to be either confirmed or debunked.

Most of the rumors and theories that have been dominating the internet have been about Maguire and Garfield in the movie.

So far, neither of have them have been shown.

Nevertheless, it’s inevitable.

The only ones who truly know what’s really going to happen are its cast and crew.

They’re not talking; after all, they’re too busy leaking footage of Andrew Garfield.

LOL, Sony, LOL.

Take a look at what Tom Holland said at an interview with Empire:

When I was first pitched the idea, I was like, ‘Wow, that would be awesome if we could pull it off.’ But there’s just no way it’s going to work. You’re just not going to be able to get everyone to do what they need to do. It’s just not going to happen.

Furthermore, he admitted:

But it did happen. And it’s crazy.

One can Spidey sense his temptation to spoil at this point.

What’s interesting about this is what Tom Holland said regarding getting everyone to do what they need to do.

Specifically, this could actually be considered an indirect confirmation of both Maguire and Garfield’s involvement.

Moreover, Spider-Man: No Way Home is shaping up to be huge.

Even director Jon Watts even nicknamed it Spider-Man: Endgame.

Consequently, it’s not surprising that Tom Holland would question whether or not they could pull this off.

With Spider-Man: No Way Home literally just around the corner, it won’t be long until we get to experience the craziness that Tom Holland described.
