Spider-Man: No Way Home confirms that the multiverse is happening.

However, it’s not just any universe like what we saw in the recent Disney Plus series What If…?

This multiverse will now be dealing with the other Spider-Man films that don’t involve Tom Holland or the MCU.
Entertainment Weekly recently interviewed Tom Holland.

Tom Holland shared his thoughts about Alfred Molina’s return as Doctor Octopus. He said:

One of my favorite people I’ve ever worked with. It was really fun to watch him see how technology has advanced. When he was making these films, the arms were puppets, and when we did it, they’re all imaginary and CG. It was quite cool to see him relive it, but also relearn it.

Alfred Molina played Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2.

Molina was one of the most memorable villains in the entire run of Tobey Maguire’s turn as the web-slinging hero. Sam Raimi directed the Maguire Spider-Man trilogy

In regards to Spider-Man director, Jon Watts, Tom Holland acknowledged his comfort level with him.

Tom Holland admitted:

The first film, [director] Jon Watts and I were sort of flying by the seat of our pant. This one, I think we both felt really confident, so we were able to relax. We actually had so much more fun on this one than we did on the previous two.

Watts has been the director for all the Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland.

They have been together for three movies; furthermore, two of which are box-office hits for both Sony and Marvel Studios.

After Spider-Man: No Way Home, Mikey Sutton scooped in September 2019 that Tom Holland would appear in The Fantastic Four film.

In fact, that was before Marvel Studios announced Watts as its director.

Tom Holland has built a wonderful relationship with his co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon.

He shared his thoughts about his experience with them:

We’ve been with each other every step of the way. We’ve done every single film, every single press tour. So, this one scene, [we didn’t know] if this would be the last time [we were all working together.] [It] was heartbreaking but also really exciting because we’re all moving into the next chapter of our careers.

Tom Holland is being dramatic here; nevertheless, his future as Spider-Man in the MCU is quite secure.
