Stephen Amell won’t admit he appears in The Flash’s final season. Granted, there’s a chance he isn’t in it. On the other hand, we’ve heard this before. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield denied their participation in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In fact, Garfield turned it into a marathon of denials. Even prior to the film’s release, Garfield continued to lie. It became hilarious. The stuff of meme legend. Someone, probably Sony, even leaked photos of Garfield in the movie. Nonetheless, Garfield refused to give it up.

In the end, Garfield and Maguire wowed audiences in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Just like I initially scooped before anyone in October 2019. This time, I don’t have advance knowledge of Stephen Amell in Season Nine of The Flash. On the contrary, it’s really not needed.

He has to be in it.

Come on, man.

Stephen Amell debuted as Oliver Queen in Arrow on October 10, 2012. For comic-book fans, it was a different world. Disney Plus and HBO Max didn’t exist. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn’t appear until a year later. In other words, there wasn’t the saturation of superhero TV shows we see now. But we had Arrow.

Critics and fans praised Arrow‘s first season. Amell’s wealthy vigilante actually killed the bad guys. He even kept a list of people to take out. Nonetheless, Arrow evolved in its eight seasons. For better or for worse. More importantly, Arrow gave birth to a cohesive group of CW DC TV series. The Arrowverse.

That includes The Flash. The Flash spun off from Arrow. Grant Gustin’s Flash first appeared in Season Two of Arrow. They are truly linked.

In a recent interview, Amell claimed:

People ask me if I’m going to come back for ‘The Flash’ final season. I guess you’re just going to have to watch. Haven’t been asked, but, you know, that’d be fun.

Somewhere, Garfield nods in approval. Obviously, Amell signed an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). In addition, he probably doesn’t want to spoil it. Arrow ended with him in a paradise dimension. The Flash will find a way to see him.

Amell started the Arrowverse, and he’ll end it in a Flash.
