Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s appearances were teased in the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.
When the second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally dropped, it obliterated the Internet.
Moreover, it blew the minds of fans globally.
In fact, it hasn’t stopped.
First of all, the trailer delivered welcome surprises.
In particular, it confirmed both Sandman and the Lizard’s inclusion.
In addition, the trailer unveiled our first look at the returns of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Jaime Foxx’s Electro.
Nevertheless, some fans felt disappointed about the absence of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
In addition, others worry that Tom Holland’s predecessors won’t even appear in the movie.
True, they didn’t physically appear in the trailer.
In spite of that, the trailer teased Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
The first major hint comes during Spider-Man’s fight with Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina).
The classic villain restrains Spider-Man with his tentacles.
He removes Spider-Man’s mask and says:
You’re not Peter Parker.

This sets the stage for Tobey Maguire’s inevitable entrance.
After all, as Tom Holland’s Parker has to know who he is referring to.
At that point, there’s no doubt about it. Tobey Maguire is in it.
Furthermore, the trailer’s end reveals looks to be the movie’s climatic battle.
Doctor Strange is on top of the Statue of Liberty.
It’s now under construction and wielding it’s own version of Captain America’s shield.
He admits:
They’re starting to come through, and I can’t stop them!

It’s possible that Strange is talking about more villains.
While that may be true, he could mean other Spider-Men.
Spider-Man then battles his sinister foes and his fearsome on the Statue of Liberty.
There is scaffolding covering the whole site.
Look familiar?
This confirmed the leaked Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield images were real.
The scaffolding in the trailer is a perfect match to what we could see in those leaks.
Indeed, there is no way a faker could have known about the scaffolding.
Likewise, go to 2:30 in the trailer.
The scaffolding and water behind Holland is exactly like the picture with him, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.
Similarly, his mask is off.
LOL, Sony, LOL.
