A concept artist revealed his vision for Tom Holland with the Venom symbiote. It’s only a matter of time before Spider-Man and Venom clash.

The following contains spoilers.

After all, a post-credit sequence in Venom: Let There Be Carnage set the stage.

In it, Venom found himself in the MCU.

He caught his first glimpse of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man watching television.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock was sent back to his universe.

However, the symbiote remained in the MCU.

The symbiote will attach itself to someone new.

In other words, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be the new host.

On December 10, 2021, I scooped that Venom will adopt the spider symbol on his chest.

Thus, the Venom symbiote will be more comics accurate.

Artist Thomas du Crest worked on Spider-Man: No Way Home.

On his Twitter account, he posted images of Tom Holland with the black costume.

Needless to say, it’s a more horrific look for Spider-Man.

Sam Raimi’s take on the Venom story in Spider-Man 3 polarized fans.

Indeed, Topher Grace’s Venom disappointed some.

Actually, that might overly polite.

Still, Spider-Man 3 was entertaining enough.

But for hardcore Venom fans, it was crushing.

Although Hardy’s two Venom solo movies were hits, they weren’t transcendent.

Many complained about the lighter tone.

This concept art looks dark, threatening.

There are eerie veins on Tom Holland.

On September 16, 2021, I scooped that Venom will be the villain in Spider-Man 4.

In other words, Tom Holland could face another symbiote.

After all, Hardy’s Venom is an anti-hero.

Nevertheless, that doesn’t rule out Hardy’s participation.

Indeed, fans would feel cheated if Hardy is missing.

Certainly, Sony doesn’t want to lose the goodwill they’ve generated.

Given that Spider-Man 4 is in early development, the plans are up in the air.

Under the watchful eye of Marvel Studios, perhaps this will be the Venom die-hards have awaited.

Although du Crest drew concept art for Spider-Man: No Way Home, these images aren’t official.

He teased:

Here is a small take on what might come next

Nonetheless, it’s exciting stuff.

Both Sony and Disney see a huge blockbuster here.

The pictures say it all.
