Review Marvel Legends Disney Plus Wave 6 Inch White Vision Action Figure

Hasbro continues the photo-realistic excellence they established with their MCU lines into the Disney Plus TV series wave with the Marvel Legends Disney Plus Wave 6 Inch White Vision Action Figure. The WandaVision White Vision figure is, hands down, my favorite figure in this wave. Vision is essentially a repaint of the original Vision release, with a couple of new pieces, but looks absolutely incredible.

Possible spoilers ahead for WandaVision.

After recovering Vision’s corpse from the battle with Thanos, S.W.O.R.D. sets about attempting to bring the android back to life. They reconstruct Vision’s body, but without the mind stone, lack the necessary power to regenerate him.

After discovering that Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, has bewitched the entire town of Westview, to “cope” with losing Vision and Pietro, S.W.O.R.D. sets their sights on stopping the Scarlet Witch and harnessing her power to rejuvenate their rebuilt Vision.

As the action reaches its climax, S.W.O.R.D. is able to tap into Wanda’s power and re-animate Vision. Unleashed on the hexed community, the white Vision battles his Wanda-created counterpart, who manages to merge his “memories” within his newly reanimated body, causing the white Vision to reconsider his actions and leave the battlefield.

The White Vision has minimal accessories, namely, two pairs of hands, one fisted, one open and the two wing mount sections to the Captain America Build-A-Figure Wing Assembly. Accessories in this wave were fairly minimal, with the exception of the Baron Zemo figure, which we’ll discuss in another review.

The Marvel Legends Disney Plus Wave White Vision looks remarkable! As mentioned earlier his body is re-used from the previous version, but the white paint apps are really nice. His boots and gauntlets are a cream color, which was initially off-putting for me, until I realized that they were designed to match the look in the show.

I went back and watched the episode with the White Vision in it and could tell that the gauntlets and boots were, indeed, slightly different than the rest of his body.

The head sculpt and cape are both new and look magnificent. Vision’s eyes are silver, and match his televised counterpart very well. Additionally, the blue power source in his head is striking and vibrant on the white background.

The cape is a soft, pliable translucent material and is glued on to the body, rather than be ported into his back. I’m a big fan of this new design and am impressed with how nice it looks on the figure.

The white body, really shows off the sculpting and gives this figure such a unique look, despite having re-used parts. For a figure with, essentially, minimal paint applications, this is easily one of the nicest looking Marvel Legends I’ve seen. Vision looks the part, can he move like his namesake?

The Marvel Legends Disney Plus Vision features the articulation we’ve come to know and love (in some cases, loathe.)

Vision’s head is on a ball hinge and looks up and down equally well. He also turns side to side and gets a bit of wobble. His shoulders rotate and elevate to a nice “T” pose at the sides. He has a bicep swivel, double jointed elbows that bend in a LOT and wrists that hinge and pivot.

Vision also features a diaphragm hinge that allows for forward and backward bend to a very, very nice degree and the sculpting follows the crunch lines nicely. Vision’s waist pivots and his legs can do exceedingly nice splits. He has an upper thigh cut, double jointed knees which allow him to kick his own butt and beautiful ankle hinge and rocker.

I’m very pleased with this wave from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line. At the price point of around $20, Vision is an affordable, necessary addition to any collection. I easily give him 4.75 toyboxes out of 5. You can find your own Disney Plus Wave Legends figures at The Big Bad Toy Store. Thanks for checking out the toybox and, until next time…Geek Out!
